MQ s ANNUAL CAMP FOR YOUNG, ELITE RIDERS Each year, Motorcycling Queensland runs the Talented Rider Identification Program (TRIP), to provide our up and coming elite riders, aged 15 20 years, with

Formerly known as the U21 Elite Rider Training Camp, TRIP is an opportunity to recognise and nurture Queensland s elite young riders irrespective of their chosen discipline.

2 MQ s ANNUAL CAMP FOR YOUNG, ELITE RIDERS Each year, Motorcycling Queensland runs the Talented Rider Identification Program (TRIP), to provide our up and coming elite riders, aged years, with exposure to programs and information which is hoped will assist them in fulfilling their potential. Formerly known as the U21 Elite Rider Training Camp, TRIP is an opportunity to recognise and nurture Queensland s elite young riders irrespective of their chosen discipline. The Camp is designed for participants wanting to take their skills to the next level under the guidance of Queensland s elite coaching and mentoring staff. The five-day program focuses exclusively on off-the-bike skills, and covers such topics as nutrition, sports psychology, strength and conditioning, individual athlete assessments, developing and maintaining training programs, media and communication skills, and much more. d ATTENDEES GO ON TO GREATNESS Since the camp s maiden run in 2004, Motorcycling Queensland has seen many attendees go on to ride successfully in their respective disciplines. Some big-name attendees include: Dean Ferris (Motocross) Todd Waters (Motocross) Josh Grajczonek (Speedway) Tom McCormack (Enduro) Nick Morris (Speedway) Caleb Ward (Motocross) Troy Guenther (Road Racing) Mitch Evans (Motocross) Brenden Harrison (Motocross) Jemma Wilson (Enduro) Ford Dale (Motocross) Darcy Ward (Speedway) Mike Jones (Road Racing) Sdfd DID YOU KNOW? Jemma Wilson participated in the program in 2004, and has gone on to win the International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) for the past three years in a row with the Australian Team. Jemma s now a trainer at the Camp.

Jones accumulated so many points throughout the 2015 ASBK that he was able to take the championship title with one round left to run.
