4 Introduction The sporting regulations include procedures, attendance rules and the classification for the Time Attack season 2017 t / m For the applicable technical regulations please refer to the separate technical regulations per class. 1. 5 2. Registration 2.1. Registration Registration is possible via the website Before you enrol yourself the sporting and technical regulations as a whole carefully, this prevents surprises. By subscribing yourself you agree with the rules and conditions and, if it appears that it does not comply with the regulations, are denied the right to participate without refund of participation fees Rates and Payment For each event, the following fee structure * shall apply: Time of payment Up to 2 months prior to the event 195 Up to 1 week prior to the event 230 In the week prior to the event 330 * For the special season sign the registration form. The following comments:- For participants from the UK or from a distance further than 700km is a discount of 60 applies. The registration fee is 1 entrance card included. A pit box is not included and can be purchased for 150, for reservations mail to esther@402automotive.com. Allocation of starting places is done in order of payment. Only after payment you are assured of participation. The above prices apply to both individual registrations teams (see section 6.2) Door Shields After registering for a whole season you will receive a few days before the first event the door shields with the starting number. These should all be stuck to both front doors of the vehicle in one piece (do not cut up). For single entry you can pick the door shields on the day to and during the technical inspection. Next to the door shields you get two small shields for the front and rear screens, and a window banner to be placed on the windshield. These are all mandatory. VERSION 1.0 5

6 3. General 3.1. Daily Routine The general schedule outlines the course of the day. The exact schedule with times and locations vary by event and a few weeks before the event published on the website. 1. Subscribe * 2. Inspection * 3. Briefing 4. Free Training 5. Warm up 6. Awards * It is possible that the opportunity will be offered to already write in advance the evening and to approve; it will be made known in advance to the participants Registration The first step on the day the application process, which is usually the same location as the inspection takes place, in which the following are important: When registering, the par cipant receives against a deposit, (driver's license or 300), the transponder. 7 3.4. Briefing The briefing is provided by Paul van Stenis and forms an important part in preparation for the race. The briefing aims to share the latest information for riding with the participants and to clarify the rules again. A participant is required to participate in the briefing and must sign a presentation list before the briefing. After completion of briefing the participants will receive the sticker to attach participation briefing. The following briefings will apply: Dutch. English (for foreign par cipants). When the briefing is held can be found on the daily schedule, is hereby made to Article Sessions Free training The participants of the course in the following groups during the free practice session of 30 minutes: CLUB PRO SUPER PRO & SUPER CARS The free training is designed to explore the job and to adjust the car to the conditions. Times are registered but do not count towards the result. Warm up During the warm-up of 20 minutes, the participants of the course in the following groups: CLUB PRO SUPER PRO & SUPER CARS The warm up is to prepare for qualifying. Times are registered but do not count towards the result. Qualification In qualifying for the first time to earn points for the championship and it is therefore important to set the fastest possible lap times on the clock. This is a time slot of 20 minutes per class. The fastest five riders per class go through to the final. Should the participant not all round from start to finish (pit lane is not valid), have driven is not a valid qualifying time. If there is less than 5 participants start the final, it is possible to submit a request to drive the finals of the competition organizers. It may nevertheless decide to let the rider take part provided in the final. 8 Final The fastest 5 competitors from the qualification participate in the final. The final will be held according to the '' out lap '' hot lap '' in lap 'system. The participant has one warm-up lap before he begins the hot lap. The hot lap is the round in which the fastest possible time to be realized. Classification 5.1. Classes The classification is as follows: CLUB PRO SUPER PRO SUPERCAR Class: Club Pro Super pro Supercars Time Limit * < 2.12 D.n.a. D.n.a. D.n.a SUPER PRO, PRO & CLUB On the basis of modifications, the car is classified on the Club, Pro and Super Pro class. For each class, requirements and restrictions where the car must meet. What class you fall, you can inspect this, in case of doubt the technical judge decides what class you are driving. Tube chassis frames are not allowed in these classes SUPERCAR Vehicles specified in the "supercar-list" will participate in the SUPERCAR class. The supercar list can be found in Article 8.1 and may also be entered by superlights and GT cars to participate in this class. This list of supercars can be changed during the current season. Technically, the judge determines whether this car is safe to participate. Such modified "supercar" which meets the 'Super Pro' laws may also participate in this class, provided that the vehicle has or has had a license plate (excl. tube frames). There is no championship in the Supercar class only a daily rate for the fastest time of the day. If the participant doubts whether his car is classified as possible Supercar / may be able to absorb the contact technical committee via timeattack@402automotive.com. VERSION 1.0 9

10 5.4. Protest A technical protest can be filed against another driver from the same class if there is a very good reason. This protest can be submitted to the stewards. In a well-founded protest the race committee can have hours recognized the suspect driver. The last moment in order to file a protest is 15 minutes after the final, ahead of the awards ceremony Result Seconds For the Club Class is that if a lap will be driven under the class limit is too fast time, multiplied by a factor of 1.8 in the driven lap time to be added result seconds. Rules on transfer Regarding the transfers, the following rules apply: Any earned championship points remain in the class and not be taken to the higher / lower class. 11 5.7. Using Lap Timers (Club Class) Time Attack is to get the best out of yourself and your car to get to that perfect lap. Club class has to meet the target with Time Attack, gain experience, develop yourself and as a result, to grow into a higher class. Time Attack is emphatically not a regularity race, with the aim of achieving a predetermined lap. The use of a lap timer is allowed, however, it is not allowed to manipulate aware lap times with the aid of electronic means (BV GPS). Pets are not allowed during an event in the whole area Conduct on the track On the track, the following rules apply: Par cipants are required while driving to be aware of what is happening behind them, by looking in the mirrors. It is not allowed to cut off the circuit. The par cipant must remain with the vehicle between the two extreme white lines. is allowed with two wheels on the curb is not allowed with two wheels ON the curb stones. 15 7.6. Injury or accident If a participant has been involved have had an accident on the track or contact another participant, the participant is obliged within 30 minutes after his / her session to report to the race director / race control Mechanical Breakdown If there is a mechanical defect occurs during the session, the participant must be car a safe place to put down beside the track. Damage caused to the circuit without the intervention of Automotive 402 between the circuit and dealt with the participant Fuel The refuelling is permitted only for the garage (on the side of the paddock) or on the paddock with the engine OFF. Never in the pit lane!! In close proximity to a working fire extinguisher must be present. The participant is obliged to use a tank / mat / drip tray to catch spillage License The participant must be in possession of: 1. A valid European driving license, or; 2. A race license (at least club level), which is a minimum age limit of 18 applies. If a licensee is under 18 years, may be granted after consultation (advance) with parent / guardian consent jurisdiction Alcohol / Drugs The use of alcohol and / or drugs is not permitted before and during the event. DAKAR HISTORIC GRAND PRIX 2012 REGULATIONS 1 Organisers The s.a. REVE d'afrique will organise the first DAKAR HISTORIC GRAND PRIX (GRAND PRIX HISTORIQUE de DAKAR ) in 2012 in compliance with FSAM regulations
