Allow yourself enough travelling time to get to the spectator points as listed in this Spectator Guide. AT ALL TIMES OBEY THE RULES OF THE ROAD, as well as the instructions of traffic and rally officials, spectator safety officers and the marshals. DO NOT LITTER IN THE FORESTS OR LIGHT FIRES. AT ALL TIMES PARK IN A SAFE PLACE OFF THE ROAD AND AVOID VEHICLE CONGESTION. Make way for the rally cars. PICK YOUR VANTAGE POINT CAREFULLY high on a hill or behind the tree line is best. DO NOT SPECTATE FROM DANGEROUS POINTS, i.e. blind rises, on the outside of fast corners and sweeps or at turns where rally cars will be under heavy braking. (Rally drivers make creative use of the whole road.) DO NOT CROSS INTO DEMARCATED PROHIBITED AREAS. Keep your CHILDREN UNDER CLOSE SUPERVISION at all times. DO NOT TAKE PETS OR ANIMALS into special stages. WHEN SPECTATING AT NIGHT, it is advisable to carry a torch. BE WARY AND ALERT AT ALL TIMES, particularly during the daylight stages. Friday 18 October 2013 Rally Parade The rally cars will parade through the centre of Polokwane from the service park situated within the Peter Mokaba Stadium to the Polokwane City Council Chambers on the corners of Bodenstein and Kerk Streets, starting at 11:00 From the Stadium, the route finds its way into Bicard Street and proceeds until Hospital Street. At this junction, cars turn left, proceed along Hospital Street and then turn left into Landros Maree Street. They drive down Landros Maree Street until Bodenstein Street where the route turns right. At Kerk Street, cars turn left and then immediate right into the open parking area. At 12:00, the first car leaves the parking area for the official start of the event and turns right onto Kerk Street.

Park well off the gravel road and proceed on foot along gravel track to the left to the flying finish at the next junction, then turn left along the special stage route. Oerlemans/Vercuil Stage No. 10 First car due: 11h44 Saturday 19 October 2013 Street until road to left (). At this junction, turn left into. At first roundabout, take second exit, zero odo and proceed along over numerous crossroads. leads into Potgieter Avenue and again proceed over numerous crossroads. 5,71 Crossroads, robots, turn right to Louis Trichardt onto Landros Mare Street. 12,60 Continue straight on N1.T.Louis Trichardt. 18,34 Turn left onto gravel road next to sign Oerlemans Boerdery on LHS. Spectator Point 1 GPS S E Proceed along gravel road. 19,28 Spectator Point 1 is on the other side of the fence on the RHS. Spectator Point 2 GPS S E Continue as above from 19,28 along gravel road. 21,84 Turn right onto narrow track. Care: this track also leads to the Start of the Stage. 22,15 Ignore track on LHS, proceed straight on. 22,67 Bear left. 22,93 Turn right through fence and immediate left. Keep blue pipe on RHS. 23,15 Park on open site (well away from the stage route). The Spectator Point is at the hairpin junction. Spectator Point 3 GPS S E At instruction 18,34 as above from the Peter Mokaba Stadium, proceed straight on. 24,70 Turn right onto gravel track next to sign Vercuil on RHS and proceed straight on. 24,85 Park next to fence. Spectator Point 3 is in the adjoining field next to fence.
