2 Overview Cleveland State University is Cleveland s only NCAA Division I school. That means our 17 men s and women s teams play at the highest level of amateur athletic competition outside of the Olympics. CSU Athletics provides an excellent opportunity to reach a large audience of professionals, corporate executives, community leaders, small business owners and families in the Greater Cleveland area. The Viking Elite Fleet provides for an association with one of the nations most popular pastimes - NCAA Division I College Athletics. 4 Facilities The Wolstein Center Goodman Arena The $55 million Bert L. and Iris S. Wolstein Convocation Center opened in 1991 and is a state-of-the-art, full service, multi-purpose facility that provides many opportunities for Cleveland State University and the City of Cleveland. The Wolstein Center is home to Cleveland State s men s and women s basketball teams but can also be configured to create a larger playing surface for indoor soccer games, indoor track meets and major wrestling tournaments. In addition to CSU athletics the Wolstein Center has hosted numerous concerts, family shows and other events. The Wolstein Center is state-of-the-art amenities include four large corner scoreboards, two with full color animation; computerized sound and lighting systems; six locker rooms, including permanent pro style locker facilities for the CSU basketball teams; a large auxiliary gym used as a practice facility; two large conference rooms; and the Viking Loge which is a large dining and entertainment area overlooking the arena. Krenzler Soccer Field The home of Viking soccer was recently renovated which transformed the field into a year-round multi-use complex. The improvements included the addition of the artificial playing surface FieldTurf, and a removable airsupported dome placed over the field from November-May. The Robert R. Busbey Natatorium Cleveland State s natatorium has earned it place among elite swimming facilities and has enjoyed a rich history of championships and swimmers over the past 30 years. The facility was officially dedicated as The Robert F. Busbey Natatorium in 1999 after long time swimming coach and athletic director, Bob Busbey.

5 Facilities Woodling Gymnasium The 3,000-seat facility is home to CSU volleyball, wrestling and fencing. The gymnasium is located in the Physical Education center which also houses classrooms, offices, wrestling room, two-story gymnastics room, two weight rooms, dance studio, remedial exercise room, human performance labs, trainers suite, and ten varsity locker rooms. Viking Field The 500-seat Viking Field opened in 1988 and is home to CSU Softball. A new press box was added to the venue in The facility has hosted the 1995, 2003 and 2007 Horizon League Championships and the 1997 NCAA Play-In Series. Malaga Tennis Center The six hard-surface courts facility provides CSU Tennis with a venue for on-campus practice and competition. The courts and seating are arranged specifically to allow spectators to watch several matches at once. When inclimate weather forces the team indoors the Vikings can be found at River Oaks Racquet Club in Rocky River. Pipe Yard Stadium The new $2 million stadium in Lorain, Ohio is home to CSU baseball. The Pipe Yard was chosen as the name by officials at U.S. Steel Lorain Tubular, which donated $250,000 to the city of Lorain in exchange for naming rights earlier this year. The Pipe Yard is also home to the Northern Ohio Semi-Professional Baseball League and the Erie Shores Collegiate League.

9 Gameday Men s Basketball Giveaway Sponsor Opportunities New Viking Mascot Bobblehead New Viking mascot bobbleheads with a sponsor logo will be given away free to the first 1,000 fans in attendance during a select men s basketball game. Sponsor will receive tremendous exposure through pre-promotion of giveaway by CSU in radio broadcasts, print advertising, website advertising and on-campus and grassroots marketing? $4,250 Men s Basketball Schedule Magnet (Home Opener) A full color schedule magnet with a sponsor logo will be given away free to the first 2,500 fans in attendance at the men s basketball home opener. Sponsor will receive tremendous exposure through pre-promotion of giveaway by CSU in print advertising, website advertising and on-campus and grassroots marketing? $1,250 Rally Towel Viking rally towels with a sponsor logo will be distributed free to the first 1,000 fans at a select men s basketball game. Sponsor will receive tremendous exposure through pre-promotion of giveaway by CSU in radio broadcasts, print advertising, website advertising and on-campus and grassroots marketing? $2,250 Holiday Ornament (December 22) CSU Athletics holiday ornaments with a sponsor logo will be distributed free to the first 1,000 fans at the December 22 men s basketball game vs. Central Michigan. Other off-court holiday activities include carolers, candy can giveaways and more. Sponsor will receive tremendous exposure through pre-promotion of giveaway by CSU in radio broadcasts, print advertising, website advertising and on-campus and grassroots marketing? $2,250 Men s Basketball Game Title Sponsorship Opportunities Title sponsorship of a select men s basketball game includes tremendous exposure through on-site mediums as well as pre-promotion of the sponsored game. Benefits include game tickets, messageboard recognition, gameday program recognition, public address announcements, display space, in-game or half-time activity and inclusion in pre-promotion including radio, print, website, on-campus and grassroots marketing? $750 - $3,500 depending on scope Men s Basketball In-Game / Half-Time Promotions Capture the attention of the entire crowd by sponsoring a fun-filled in-game or half-time promotion during each men s basketball home game? $2,000 per season Men s Basketball Display Space Prominent location in concourse near entrances/exits for sampling, displays, database building, etc? $200 per game for a 10 x 10 space

10 Signage Olympic Sport Banners 3 x10 banners placed at tennis, volleyball, wrestling, softball, soccer, baseball and swimming/diving? $250 per banner, per sport, per season plus cost of sign Woodling Gymnasium Scoreboard Panel Sponsor logo on 2 x 9 scoreboard panel; visible to thousands of facility users annually including CSU volleyball, wrestling and fencing matches? $1,000 for 12 months plus sign costs Krenzler Field Scoreboard Panels Sponsor logo on 2 x 8 doublesided scoreboard panel in place during all events at Krenzler Field including CSU soccer as well as high school and semi-professional matches; backside is visible to vehicles traveling on Payne Avenue at E. 18 th St.? $1,500 for 12 months plus sign costs Wolstein Center Gate Naming Rights Prominent, illuminated exterior signage on one of four entry gates. Includes three signs at gate, visible to over 1,000,000 Wolstein Center visitors annually as well as over 75,000 vehicles each day

11 Signage Basketball Rotating Signage Includes Ohio State Game at The Q! Two 3 x 8 courtside rotating signs (one at each end of main scorers table) at all men s and women s games at the Wolstein Center (minimum of 29) and 50 of rotating courtside signage for the McLendon Scholarship Series game at Quicken Loans Arena. Sponsor signage rotates every 2-3 minutes per game. Rotating signage is visible on televised home games (television contract is currently being negotiated SportsTime Ohio broadcast three home games in )? $4,250 per season plus production costs Basketball Media Table Sign Panels Two 3 x 8 fixed sign panels placed on the front of the courtside media table during all men s and women s home basketball games at the Wolstein Center (minimum of 29)? $3,500 per season plus production

12 Signage Basketball Messageboards/PA s Includes Ohio State Game at The Q! Sponsor logo/message displayed on: - 10 x 13 full-color electronic messageboard a minimum of 10 times during each men s home basketball game at the Wolstein Center - 6 x 8 one color electronic messageboard a minimum of 10 times during each men s home basketball at the Wolstein Center - Q-Tube during the McLendon Scholarship Series game at Quicken Loans Arena. Q-Tube is the dynamic 28 tall center hung state of the art scoreboard which features 8 x 21.5 LED video screens and a circular LED ring below the board, all capable of displaying crystal clear images to every seat in the house. This messaging sequence will run a minimum of four times during the game in conjunction with similar graphics and animation on 1,500 linear feet of LED fascia inside the seating bowl for a dramatic and energetic presentation of the sponsor brand. - Minimum of two public address announcements during each men s basketball home game at the Wolstein Center (minimum of 13) as well as at Quicken Loans Arena during the McLendon Scholarship Series game?$3,000 per season plus production

Sponsor logo/message on signage panels affixed to both top and bottom of two hanging scoreboards during all men s and women s basketball home games at the Wolstein Center. Four panels available. Each panel is 6 6 w x 2 h. Also includes Q-Tube during the McLendon Scholarship Series game at Quicken Loans Arena. Q-Tube is the dynamic 28 tall center hung state of the art scoreboard which features 8 x 21.5 LED video screens and a circular LED ring below the board, all capable of displaying crystal clear images to every seat in the house. 16 Viking Loge The Wolstein Center s Viking Loge is a tremendous dining and hospitality area overlooking the arena floor. Prior to each men s basketball home game, an elegant buffet is served to CSU Athletics VIP s, sponsors and donors. Your guests will have access to the buffet as well as private seating area with castered chairs, serving station and television to view the pre-game on-court activities. After the Viking Loge closes at tip-off, your guests will then have access to center-court, lower-level seats to enjoy the game. Cost for 16 tickets is $350 plus food and beverage costs

17 Website Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available at the newly redesigned csuvikings.com, which receives over 20,000 unique visitors per month. The Official CSU Athletics website is the source for the latest news, schedules, etc. as well as for live game stats and live game webcasts. Home page banner advertisements and feature sponsorships (e.g. Upcoming Events, Fan Poll, etc) with links back to sponsor websites are $225 per month each

18 McLendon Scholarship Series Overview Cleveland State University made history in 1966 when it became the first major college basketball program to hire an African-American head basketball coach John McLendon. McLendon learned basketball from its inventor, Dr. James Naismith, as a student at Kansas in the 1930 s, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in McLendon coached three seasons at CSU, ending his career with a collegiate record. He left CSU in 1969, returning in 1991 to serve as an athletic department advisor until his death. Coach McLendon s legacy and humanitarianism will be honored through the CSU McLendon Scholarship Series which will debut in December of this year. The CSU McLendon Scholarship Series will feature an annual men s basketball game hosted by Cleveland State Athletics and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). The inaugural game will be played December 18, 2007 when CSU hosts Ohio State University at Quicken Loans Arena. Proceeds from the McLendon Scholarship Series will help to endow an athletic scholarship in the name of John and Joanna McLendon at Cleveland State. Additional revenue will be donated to NACDA s John McLendon Memorial Minority Postgraduate Scholarship fund, which annually presents scholarships to senior-level minority students who intent to pursue a graduate degree in athletics administration.

19 McLendon Scholarship Series Sponsorship Opportunities Presenting Sponsorship of Annual Basketball Game (Medical Mutual is Title Sponsor) Package includes rotating courtside signage, floor logo, electronic/video messaging, Official Game Program advertisement, premium tickets, inclusion in pre-promotion of event (print, radio, tv, web, etc), sponsorship of a special activity in conjunction with the game, inclusion in half-time, oncourt presentation and year-round activities recognizing the endowment and scholarship program? $20,000 per year (three year commitment) Title Sponsor of Youth Basketball Activity Package includes electronic/video messaging, Official Game Program advertisement, premium tickets, inclusion in pre-promotion of event and youth activity (print, radio, tv, web, etc), prominent on-site recognition at youth activity, inclusion in half-time, on-court presentation and year-round activities recognizing the endowment and scholarship program? $15,000 per year (three year commitment) Courtside Boxes at Quicken Loans Arena Floor level boxes with seating for six and food and beverage service? $750 per box plus food and beverage costs; includes name recognition on two electronic messageboards throughout game
