These schools included Auburn (swimming), California (softball), Michigan (field hockey), Santa Clara (soccer) and South Carolina (outdoor track and field). In individual championships, UCLA led the way with 11 in four different sports. Stanford finished with eight to increase its leading total to 146. Three schools won individual titles for the first time, Wake Forest (tennis), Liberty (indoor track) and UMBC (indoor track).
