1 NAZRANA-E-AVADH Rules for the events FOXTROT - THE DANCE COMPETITION 1) DANCING- SOLO DANCE (FUSION) Only 1 entry per college or an institution is allowed. Time limit- Minimum 2 minutes, Maximum 4 minutes. Usage of props is allowed Participants must bring their songs in the CD form and also they have to submit their songs in Pen Drive, 2 days before the competition. Only FUSION dance form is allowed. Not following the time limit will lead to negative marking. Last minute changes in the above rules if necessary can be made. Props Usage Facial Expressions Costumes Overall Presentation 1. GROUP DANCE There will be only 1 team from a college or an institution. Time Limit- Minimum 4, Maximum 5 minutes. Usage of props is allowed. Team size- 4 to 8 members. Participants must bring their songs in the CD form and also they have to submit their songs in Pen Drive, 2 days before the competition. Themes of dance are Lights, Camera and Action And Taal se Taal Mila. All the dance forms are allowed. Not following the time limit will lead to negative marking. Props usage. Synchronization and formation. Costumes. Innovation and facial expressions.

SINGING DUET Only 1 team is allowed from a college or an institution. Time limit- Minimum 2minutes, Maximum 4 minutes No instruments are allowed except karaoke (music). Maximum 2 teams from a college or an institute. Maximum use of waste materials Time limit 1 hour No materials will be provided. The recycled products should be useful. Use of waste materials Usage after recycling POSTER MAKING Minimum 1 and maximum 3 teams per college or an institute. Minimum 1 and maximum 2 participants per team. Half a chart paper must be used. Color (Any sort). No cutting and pasting. Give a slogan to the poster. Border should be made. Materials to be arranged by the participants. College will not provide any type of material. 5 Maximum number of participants in a team will be 10 and minimum 4. Use of Hindi and English allowed. Maximum performance time is 15 minutes but not less than 5 minutes. Teams must adhere to dress code which is a white shirt/ T-shirt/ Kurta and jeans or white kurta salwar. The theme of the Nukkad Natak is Challenges for the Mentally Challenged Individuals. Last minute changes in the above rules can be made, if necessary, by the judge/ judges. The decision of the judge/judges shall be final and binding. No Props are allowed except Dhapli. (Negative marking for use of props). Acting (Total effect) Theme Dialogue SKIT Maximum number of participants in a team is 7 and minimum 3. Each college or an institute can send a maximum of one team. Use of only Hindi and English is allowed. Time limit- 10 minutes. (5 minutes extra for stage setting/ removal of props). No use of slang or otherwise offensive language is allowed. Negative marking will be done or the participants will be disqualified. Each team should get their own props. Product for the first round will be given before hand and will be same for all teams. Time limit for the first round is 3 minutes for each team. The product for the second round will be given on the spot. 10 minutes will be allotted for preparing and 3 minutes for performing. Both the advertisements should have a jingle (tag/ punch line). Originality of idea Jingle (tag/ punch line) Dialogue Delivery BRAINSTORM: THE QUIZ COMPETION RULES: Only 1 entry per college or an institution is allowed. Each team will have 2 participants. All the teams will have to answer within the given time limit, i.e.; 40 seconds and every passed answer will have to be answered in 10 seconds. No refutation will be entertained. In case of a tie between two or more teams, a tie breaking question will be asked and the team which gives the correct answer first, will be declared as the winner. 7 Literature Science and Technology History and Geography Sports Audio/Visual RAVISHING RENDITIONS: THE ELOCUTION COMPETITION RULES Minimum 1 and maximum 2 participants from the college or an institution. Medium English/Hindi. Time limit- 3 minutes. Negative marking that is -1 on exceeding the time limit i.e. 2 minutes. The participants are requested to bring 3 copies of their elocution matter. Reading or consulting a hard copy shall amount to a disqualification. The participants shall get on the topic (the topics shall be pertaining to general issues). The rule applied will be 2+1+1; i.e. the participant will get 2 minutes thinking time, and then shall speak 1 minute for the motion and 1 minute against the motion on the same topic. Use of both Hindi and English medium is permissible but the participant shall stick to one medium only (i.e. either Hindi or English ) A bell will be rung after 1 minute after which the participants are expected to speak against the motion.
