1 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 1/2/ NFL RECORDS AND MILESTONES New teams making the playoffs, terrific turnarounds, consistent teams excelling again, records falling and young players making their mark. The 2018 season had it all. Competitiveness highlighted the 2018 regular-season as 73 games were decided by three points or fewer, the most in a season in NFL history while 68% of all games played this season (175 of 256) were within one score (eight points) in the fourth quarter, tied for the third-most in a season in NFL history. On 71 occasions, teams came back to win or tie after trailing in the fourth quarter or overtime an average of 4.2 teams per week tied for second-most in a season in NFL history. Week 17 came down to the wire, as three playoff spots and three divisions titles the AFC West, AFC North and AFC South were decided on the final day of the season. Sunday s excitement was due in part to having 16 divisional games played on the season s final day, a tradition instituted in Seven of the 12 playoff teams are new to the postseason in 2018: BALTIMORE, CHICAGO, DALLAS, HOUSTON, INDIANAPOLIS, the LOS ANGELES CHARGERS and SEATTLE. Since 1990 a streak of 29 consecutive seasons at least four teams have qualified for the playoffs in every season that were not in the postseason the year before. With Chicago and Houston earning division titles, 2018 marked the second consecutive season that two teams went from worst to first (Jacksonville and Philadelphia in 2017) something that has never happened in any other major US sport. OFFENSIVE TRENDS: The 2018 season will go down as one of the most prolific offensive seasons in league history. Teams combined to score 1,371 total touchdowns, the most in a single season in NFL history, while the 11,952 total points scored are the second-most in league annals (11,985 in 2013). 2 With three teams KANSAS CITY (35.3 points per game), the LOS ANGELES RAMS (32.9) and NEW ORLEANS (31.5) averaging at least 30 points per game, the 2018 season joined 1948, 1949 and 2011 as seasons with at least three teams averaging at least 30 points per game. The Chiefs, with 565 points scored, finished as the third-highest scoring team in league annals, trailing only the 2013 DENVER BRONCOS (606 points scored) and 2007 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (589). PROLIFIC PASSERS: In 2018, league-wide passing numbers trended at a record pace, as the marks for passer rating (92.9), completion percentage (64.9 percent) and touchdown passes (847) were all the highest for a single season in NFL history, while the total completions (11,462) were the third-highest in a single season in league annals. With 12 quarterbacks reaching 4,000 passing yards, the 2018 season tied the 2015 season for the second-most quarterbacks with at least 4,000 passing yards. The seasons with the most players with at least 4,000 passing yards in NFL history: SEASON PLAYERS WITH 4,000 PASSING YARDS Nine quarterbacks threw at least 30 touchdown passes this season, including four with at least 35 touchdown passes: Mahomes (50), Luck (39), Ryan (35) and Seattle s RUSSELL WILSON (35). Eight quarterbacks had a passer rating of 100 or higher, including three with a 110+ passer rating in 2018: New Orleans DREW BREES (115.7), Mahomes (113.8) and Wilson (110.9). The eight quarterbacks with a passer rating of 100 or higher were the most in a single season in NFL history, surpassing the previous record of six in the 2015 season. TOP BACKS: Nine players rushed for at least 1,000 yards, including three players with at least 1,200 rushing yards, this season: Dallas EZEKIEL ELLIOTT (1,434), New York Giants rookie SAQUON BARKLEY (1,307) and Los Angeles Rams TODD GURLEY (1,251). The 2018 season saw players average 4.42 yards per rush attempt, the highest single-season total in league history. The seasons with the highest average yards per rush attempt in NFL history: SEASON AVERAGE YARDS PER RUSH ATTEMPT Six players recorded at least 10 rushing touchdowns in 2018: Gurley (17), New Orleans ALVIN KAMARA (14), Pittsburgh s JAMES CONNER (12), Tennessee s DERRICK HENRY (12), Barkley (11) and Los Angeles Chargers MELVIN GORDON (10). RIDICULOUS RECEIVERS: Twenty-one players had at least 1,000 receiving yards, including six with at least 1,400 receiving yards, this season: Atlanta s JULIO JONES (1,677), Houston s DE ANDRE HOPKINS (1,572), Tampa Bay s MIKE EVANS (1,524), Kansas City s TYREEK HILL (1,479), Pittsburgh s JUJU SMITH-SCHUSTER (1,426) and New Orleans MICHAEL THOMAS (1,405). Eleven players had at least 100 receptions in 2018, including seven with at least 110 catches: Thomas (125), Philadelphia s ZACH ERTZ (116), Hopkins (115), Minnesota s ADAM THIELEN (113), Jones (113), Green Bay s DAVANTE ADAMS (111) and Smith-Schuster (111).

3 With 11 players recording at least 100 catches this season, the 2018 season surpassed the 1995 season (nine) for the most players with at least 100 catches in a single season. The seasons with the most players with at least 100 receptions in NFL history: SEASON PLAYERS WITH 100+ RECEPTIONS Nine players had at least 10 touchdown catches this season, including four with at least 12 touchdown receptions: Pittsburgh s ANTONIO BROWN (15), Adams (13), Indianapolis ERIC EBRON (13) and Hill (12). DOMINANT DEFENDERS: Twenty-two players recorded at least 10 sacks, including six with at least 14 sacks, in 2018: Los Angeles Rams AARON DONALD (20.5), Houston s J.J. WATT (16), Kansas City s CHRIS JONES (15.5), Denver s VON MILLER (14.5), Minnesota s DANIELLE HUNTER (14.5) and Seattle s FRANK CLARK (14). With 16 players recording at least 12 sacks, the 2018 season tied the 1992 season (16 players) for the third-most players with at least 12 sacks in a single season since 1982 when the individual sack became an official statistic. 4 A sampling of NFL records set and milestones reached in 2018: THE TEAMS & CLUB MILESTONES ARIZONA CARDINALS QB JOSH ROSEN threw 11 touchdown passes this season, tied for the third-most by a rookie in franchise history. WR LARRY FITZGERALD has 16,279 receiving yards in his 15-year NFL career and surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer TERRELL OWENS (15,934) for the second-most receiving yards in NFL history. Has 1,303 career receptions and joined Hall of Famer JERRY RICE (1,549) and TONY GONZALEZ (1,325) as the only players in NFL history with at least 1,300 catches. Has a catch in 227 consecutive games and surpassed Gonzalez (211) for the second-longest streak of consecutive games with a catch in NFL history. Rice holds the record with at least one catch in 274 consecutive games from DE CHANDLER JONES had 13 sacks this season and 17 sacks in 2017 and joined CURTIS GREER (2) as the only players in team history with multiple seasons with 13+ sacks. S ANTOINE BETHEA led all NFL safeties with 120 tackles in P ANDY LEE led the NFL with a 48.6 gross punting average. ATLANTA FALCONS QB MATT RYAN has 46,720 career passing yards and surpassed PEYTON MANNING (45,628) for the most yards through a player s first 11 seasons in NFL history. Has 53 games with at least 300 passing yards, the second-most by a player in his first 11 seasons in NFL history. Tied for third in the league this year with 35 touchdown passes and moved into 12th place on the all-time list with 295 career pass touchdowns. WR JULIO JONES led the league with 1,677 receiving yards and became the fifth player in NFL history with at least three career seasons with 1,500+ yards. Has recorded at least 1,400 receiving yards in each of the past five seasons, the longest streak in NFL history. Jones reached 10,000 career receiving yards in his 104th game and surpassed CALVIN JOHNSON (115) for the fewest games in NFL history to reach the milestone. Had 41 games with 100+ receiving yards in his first 100 career games and surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer LANCE ALWORTH (40) for the most 100-yard receiving games in a player's first 100 career games in NFL history. Rookie WR CALVIN RIDLEY had 6 touchdown catches in Atlanta s first four games, the most by a rookie in his team's first four games of a season in NFL history. S DAMONTAE KAZEE tied for NFL lead with career-high seven interceptions this season. BALTIMORE RAVENS Won AFC North (10-6) for the fifth time in franchise history.

5 Led NFL in total defense (292.9 yards allowed per game) and ranked first in the AFC in scoring defense (17.9 points per game) in Team rushed for at least 190 yards in five consecutive games (Weeks 11-15) and became the first team to accomplish the feat since the 1976 Pittsburgh Steelers (five consecutive games from October 17 to November 14). In Week 11, rookie QB LAMAR JACKSON (117 rush yards) and rookie RB GUS EDWARDS (115 yards) became the first pair of rookie quarterback and rookie running back teammates to rush for at least 100 yards each in a single game in NFL history. Jackson had 190 rushing yards in his first two NFL starts, the most by a quarterback in his first two career starts in the Super Bowl era. LB TERRELL SUGGS has sacks in his 16-year career with the Ravens, tied with Pro Football Hall of Famer LAWRENCE TAYLOR (132.5 with the New York Giants) for the third-most sacks by a player with a single team since the individual sack became an official statistic in K JUSTIN TUCKER has six career games with multiple converted field goals of at least 50 yards, the most such games by a player in NFL history. Has made 30+ field goals in six seasons, the most in NFL history. BUFFALO BILLS QB JOSH ALLEN had 18 touchdowns (10 passing, eight rushing), the most touchdowns by a rookie QB in franchise history. His eight rushing touchdowns are the second-most by a rookie QB in the Super Bowl era (CAM NEWTON, 14 in 2011). He also had 631 rushing yards, the most by a Bills QB in a single season in franchise history. In Week 3, became the third rookie QB in the Super Bowl era with at least two rushing TDs and a TD pass in the first half of a single game. In Week 13, became the fourth player in league history with at least two touchdown passes (two) and 125+ rushing yards (135) in a single game. Had 224 passing yards with three touchdowns and rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns in Week 17 and became the second rookie quarterback in NFL history to record three touchdowns passes and two rushing touchdowns in the same game. RB LE SEAN MC COY has 10 career games with at least 100 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns and joined ADRIAN PETERSON (17) as the only active players with at least 10 such games. CAROLINA PANTHERS QB CAM NEWTON has 58 career rushing touchdowns, the most by a QB in NFL history. He has three career games with at least two touchdown passes and two rushing touchdowns, the second-most in NFL history (Pro Football Hall of Famer STEVE YOUNG, four). RB CHRISTIAN MC CAFFREY ranked third in the NFL with 1,965 scrimmage yards this season. Had 107 receptions in 2018, the most catches by a RB in a single season in league annals (MATT FORTÉ, 102 in 2014).

6 Had 1,098 rushing yards this season and joined Pro Football Hall of Famer LA DAINIAN TOMLINSON (2003) and Forté (2014) as the only players in NFL history with at least 1,000 rushing yards and 100 receptions in a single season. Became the first player in league history with at least 50 rushing yards and 50 receiving yards in five consecutive games (Weeks 9-13). In Week 12, became the first player in franchise history with 100+ rushing yards (125), a rush TD (one), 100+ receiving yards (112) and a touchdown catch (one) in a single game. K GRAHAM GANO converted a game-winning 63-yard field goal with one second remaining in the fourth quarter of the Panthers Week 5 victory, tied for the longest game-winning field goal in the fourth quarter or overtime in NFL history. CHICAGO BEARS Won NFC North (12-4) for the first time since Led NFL in scoring defense (17.7 points allowed per game), takeaways (36) and interceptions (27) and ranked third in turnover differential (+12) this season. QB MITCHELL TRUBISKY had four games with a 120+ passer rating in 2018, the most such games in a single season in franchise history. Passed for 354 yards and six touchdown passes with no interceptions for a passer rating in Week 4 and became the second QB in league history to throw at least five touchdown passes to five different receivers in the first half of a single game. LB KHALIL MACK had a team-high 12.5 sacks in 2018, tied for the third-most by a Chicago player in a single season since DT AKIEM HICKS had a one-yard touchdown run in Week 13 and joined WILLIAM "THE REFRIGERATOR" PERRY as the only defensive linemen to rush for a touchdown in a regular season game in franchise history. CB KYLE FULLER tied for NFL lead with career-high seven interceptions and ranked first with 21 passes defensed this season. S EDDIE JACKSON (three) joined Pro Football Hall of Famer DEION SANDERS (three touchdowns in 1994) as the only players since 1970 with at least three defensive touchdowns of 65 or more yards over any two-year span. CINCINNATI BENGALS QB ANDY DALTON connected on a game-winning 13-yard touchdown pass to WR A.J. GREEN with seven seconds remaining in the fourth quarter in Week 4, marking the second time in franchise history that the Bengals recorded a game-winning touchdown pass with under 10 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. RB JOE MIXON led the AFC with 1,168 rushing yards and became the first Bengal since 2014 with a 1,000-yard rushing season. In Week 2, Green became the fourth player since 1991 with three catches for three TDs in the first half of a game. Played in his 110th career game in Week 8 and became the third player in league history with at least 600 receptions and 60+ touchdown catches in their first 110 games.

7 S JESSIE BATES led the team with 111 tackles, the most tackles by a Cincinnati rookie since 2012 (VONTAZE BURFUCT, 127). CLEVELAND BROWNS Rookie QB BAKER MAYFIELD had 27 touchdown passes in 2018, the most by a rookie quarterback all-time. Threw a touchdown pass in all 13 of his career starts and became the third QB in the Super Bowl era with a touchdown pass in each of his first 10 career starts. Completed 17 of 20 passes (85 percent) for 216 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions for a passer rating in Week 10 and became first rookie quarterback in NFL history to record a passer rating 150 or higher on 20 or more pass attempts in a single game. Had a passer rating in Week 10 and a rating in Week 12 and became first rookie quarterback in NFL history to record a 140+ passer rating in consecutive games (min. 20 attempts). Rookie RB NICK CHUBB had a 92-yard touchdown run in Week 10, the longest rushing touchdown in franchise history and the secondlongest touchdown run by a rookie in NFL history. WR JARVIS LANDRY has 481 receptions since entering the league in 2014 and surpassed LARRY FITZGERALD (426 from ) for the most receptions by a player in his first five seasons in NFL history. Rookie CB DENZEL WARD had two interceptions in his NFL debut in Week 1 and, at 21 years, 134 days old, became the fourth-youngest player in NFL history with at least two interceptions in a single game. He became the first rookie to record multiple interceptions in a season-opening game since Indianapolis EUGENE DANIEL on September 2, DALLAS COWBOYS Won NFC East (10-6) for the second time in the past three years. QB DAK PRESCOTT has 13 career games with at least one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown, the second-most in a player s first three seasons in NFL history (CAM NEWTON, 20). RB EZEKIEL ELLIOTT led the league with 1,434 rushing yards this season and ranked second in the NFL with 2,001 scrimmage yards. He joined Pro Football Hall of Famer EMMITT SMITH, HERSCHEL WALKER and DE MARCO MURRAY as the only players in franchise history with 2,000+ scrimmage yards in a single season. Has 4,048 rushing yards and 1,199 receiving yards in his three-year NFL career and became the fifth player in NFL history with at least 4,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in his first three NFL seasons. Had 4,540 scrimmage yards and 32 touchdowns through his first 35 career games and joined Pro Football Hall of Famer ERIC DICKERSON and EDGERRIN JAMES as the only players in NFL history with at least 4,500 scrimmage yards and 30 touchdowns in their first 35 career games. Had career-high 240 scrimmage yards (152 rushing, 88 receiving) and a touchdown catch in Week 4 and became the sixth player in league history to record at least 150 rushing yards, 85 receiving yards and a touchdown catch in a winning effort.

8 LB LEIGHTON VANDER ESCH ranked third in the NFL with 138 tackles this season, the most by a rookie in franchise history (DEXTER COAKLEY, 136 in 1997). DENVER BRONCOS Rookie RB PHILLIP LINDSAY had 1,037 rushing yards and joined DOMINIC RHODES and LE GARRETTE BLOUNT as the only undrafted rookies with at least 1,000 rushing yards since Had 102 scrimmage yards (71 rush, 31 rec.), including a 29-yard touchdown catch, in Week 1 and became the fourth rookie in team history with 100+ scrimmage yards & a touchdown catch on Kickoff Weekend. Had 100+ scrimmage yards in Weeks 1 and 2 and became the first undrafted player in NFL history to record at least 100 scrimmage yards in each of his first two career games. LB VON MILLER tied for fourth in the league with 14.5 sacks in Has 98 sacks in his eight-year career and surpassed SIMON FLETCHER (97.5) for the most in franchise history. LB BRADLEY CHUBB led all NFL rookies with 12 sacks this season, tied for the sixth-most by a rookie since DETROIT LIONS In Week 7, the Lions combined for 248 rushing yards, the most by the franchise in a single game since November 23, 1997 (249 yards vs. Indianapolis). Rookie RB KERRYON JOHNSON led the team with 158 yards and became the first Lions running back with at least 150 rushing yards in a single game since JAHVID BEST (163 vs. Chicago on October 10, 2011). QB MATTHEW STAFFORD passed for 3,777 yards this season, his eighth consecutive season with 3,500+ passing yards. Has 38,526 career passing yards and moved into 21st place on the all-time passing yards list. Johnson rushed for 100+ yards twice this season (158 yards in Week 7 and 101 yards in Week 3) and became the first Lions RB to rush for 100 yards in a game since 2013 (REGGIE BUSH, three times). Since 2016, CB DARIUS SLAY has the most passes defensed (55) and second-most interceptions (13) in the NFL. GREEN BAY PACKERS QB AARON RODGERS set the NFL record for most consecutive pass attempts without an interception (402 passes, Weeks 4-15). Passed for 442 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions for a passer rating and had two rushing touchdowns in Week 16 and is only player in NFL history with at least 400 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in a single game. He also previously accomplished the feat on October 2, 2011 (408 passing yards, four touchdown passes and two rushing touchdowns). WR DAVANTE ADAMS tied for sixth in the NFL with 111 catches, the second-most in a single season in franchise history. Had career-high 1,386 receiving yards and became the seventh player in Packers history with 1,350+ receiving yards in a single season.

9 LB BLAKE MARTINEZ ranked second in the league with 144 tackles in Since 2017, leads the NFL with 286 tackles. HOUSTON TEXANS Won AFC South division title (11-5) for the third time in the past four seasons. Won nine consecutive games (Weeks 4-13) and became the first team since 1970 to win at least seven consecutive games immediately following an 0-3 start to a season. Led the AFC with a +13 turnover differential in QB DESHAUN WATSON became the first quarterback in NFL history with 4,000+ passing yards (4,165), 25+ touchdown passes (26), 500+ rushing yards (551) and five+ rushing touchdowns (five) in a single season. In Week 13, threw his 40th career touchdown pass in his 19th career game, the fourth-fastest player in NFL history to reach 40 career touchdown passes. RB LAMAR MILLER had a 97-yard touchdown run in Week 12, the longest run in franchise history. WR DE ANDRE HOPKINS ranked second in the NFL in receiving yards (1,572) and third in catches (115) in His 115 receptions are tied for the most in franchise history (ANDRE JOHNSON, 2008). Has two career seasons with at least 1,500 receiving yards and joined ANDRE JOHNSON (three) as the only players in franchise history with multiple 1,500+ yard seasons. Rookie WR KEKE COUTEE had 11 catches in his NFL debut in Week 4, the second-most in league history by a player in his firstcareer game. DE J.J. WATT ranked second in the NFL with 16 sacks in 2018 and joined Pro Football Hall of Famer REGGIE WHITE (five seasons) as the only players since 1982 with four seasons of at least 15 sacks. Had 23 games with at least two sacks in his first 100 career games, tied with Pro Football Hall of Famer RICHARD DENT (23) for the second-most games with at least two sacks by a player in his first 100 career games since the individual sack became an official statistic in Rookie S JUSTIN REID had a 101-yard interception-return touchdown in Week 11, tied for the second-longest interception-return touchdown by a rookie in NFL history. He is also the third player in franchise history with a 100+ yard touchdown. K KA IMI FAIRBAIRN led the NFL with 37 made field goals and 150 total kicking points. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS Advanced to the postseason (10-6) for the first time since QB ANDREW LUCK threw at least three touchdown passes in eight consecutive games (Weeks 4-12), tied with PEYTON MANNING (eight in 2004) for the second-longest streak of consecutive games with three or more touchdown passes in a single season. RB MARLON MACK (two) is the third player in franchise history to record multiple games with at least 125 rushing yards and two

10 rushing touchdowns in a single season. TE ERIC EBRON led NFL tight ends and tied for second in the league with 13 touchdown catches this season. Had two touchdown catches and added a rushing touchdown in Week 10 and joined New England s ROB GRONKOWSKI (two receiving, one rushing on December 4, 2011 vs. Indianapolis) as the only tight ends in NFL history to record at least two touchdown catches and one rushing touchdown in a single game. Rookie LB DARIUS LEONARD led the NFL with 163 tackles, the most in a single season in franchise history (JEFF HERROD,160 in 1991). K ADAM VINATIERI has made 582 career field goals and surpassed Football Hall of Famer MORTEN ANDERSEN (565) for the most converted field goals in NFL history. Has 2,600 total points during his 23-year NFL career and surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer MORTEN ANDERSEN (2,544) as the league's all-time leading scorer. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS WR-PR DEDE WESTBROOK had a 74-yard punt return touchdown in Week 15, the third-longest punt return in franchise history. LB TELVIN SMITH had a 33-yard interception-return touchdown in Week 16 and has three career INT-TDs, tied with RASHEAN MATHIS (three) for the most in franchise history. DE CALAIS CAMPBELL led the team with 10.5 sacks in 2018 and became the first player in franchise history with back-to-back 10+ sack seasons (14.5 in 2017). DE YANNICK NGAKOUE has 29.5 sacks in 48 career games, the most through 48 games in team history. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Won AFC West division title (12-4) for the third consecutive year, the longest streak in franchise history. Have scored at least 25 points in 21 consecutive games dating back to 2017, the longest such streak in league history. Led the NFL averaging yards per game and 35.3 points per game.
