1 Gymnasts of the Week March 7-13, 2011 Awards are given by conference offices Big Ten Conference Allison Buckley - Illinois Illinois' Allison Buckley took first place in the all-around and won two event titles at the State of Illinois Classic en route to her second Big Ten award of the season. Buckley led the 16th-ranked Illini to first place at the quad-meet, posting a school-record score of in the all-around. Natasha Kelley - Oklahoma Kelley won both the bars and beam titles as the Sooners defeated Michigan State with their thirdhighest score of the season. Co-Newcomers of the Week Jamie Schleppenbach - Nebraska Schleppenbach earned her second vault title of the season in NU's win over Iowa State, posting a mark of 9.9. The freshman also matched a season-high on beam with a 9.80 score. Madison Mooring - Oklahoma Mooring won the vault title against Michigan State with a score of while also placing second on beam with a mark. 2 East Atlantic Gymnastics League Abigail Adams Maryland Adams, a Spring, Texas, native, was named the EAGL for the second consecutive week. Over a three-day span, Adams picked up a pair of all-around titles at George Washington on Mar. 11 and at home, for Senior Day, on Mar. 13. Adams earned no lower than a in all eight events and led Maryland to four wins, including three leavue victories which pushed the Terps' season record to 8-0 over EAGL competition. She also tied her career-hgih on Friday with a on bars and posted back-to-back 9.850s on floor. Brooke Barr North Carolina State Barr captured a first place finish in the floor exercise with a 9.9, her third podium finish in the event this season, and her first win on floor since the 2010 EAGL Championships. The Harrisburg, Pa. native also added a third place finish on vault with her 9.8. Rookie of the Week Katy Dodds Maryland Out of Gaithersburg, Md., Dodds picked up her second league honor of the year following backto-back performances on vault Friday and Sunday. Dodds also brought in three scores of or higher on bars and floor exercise on the weekend. Eastern College Athletic Conference Division I Co-Gymnasts of the Week Emily Lutfey - Brown University Lutfey had two solid meets this week, earning a career-high , followed by a She is now ranked as the top all-around competitor in the ECAC. She also earned a career high on the floor with a She hit all four events in both meets, leading the Bears to a school record on beam and on bars at the meet on March 7, then again breaking the school record on bars at the meet on March 12. She also led the Bears to the highest team total ( ) since Dana Bonincontri - University of Pennsylvania Bonincontri scored a career high in winning the all-around at the quad meet against California, Temple and Southern Connecticut. She scored a team high on vault and bars. She is currently ranked third in the ECAC in the all-around and 11 th in the all-around in the Northeast Region. Co-Rookies of the Week Keolamau Yee - University of Pennsylvania Keolamau scored a career high on beam. She has scored above a 9.70 in five meets this season. She is currently tied for ninth on beam in the ECAC Michelle Shnayder - Brown University Shnayder has been solid for the Bears all season. She earned a personal best on beam this week, helping to break the school record on this event

3 Melanie Standridge - Cornell University Standridge had the best beam routine of her career, setting the Cornell school record at Her NCAA regional qualifying score of 9.79 leads all ECAC beam competitors, and with one week left she currently is the beam specialist who will qualify for the NCAA Northeast Regional meet in Michigan. Standridge 9.9 is the highest score earned on any event in the ECAC this season. Her beam score helped Cornell to a season high score of Coaches Choice Megan Wooden - Towson University Helped lead the Tigers to a win at William & Mary and a double win over Rutgers and Yale in their home finale as the Tigers completed an 18-1 regular season. With an 18-1 record, the Tigers posted their best regular season record since 1992 when they went In the Tigers narrow win at William & Mary, she contributed a vault score to tie for fourth place. In her final home meet, a double win over Rutgers and Yale, the two-year Tiger co-captain had a 9.75 vault score to finish fourth and help the Tigers post a seasonal high team score on vault. She also had a 9.65 score on floor exercise as the Tigers posted a team score as they closed out the regular season with a season high team score. With 1, career points, she is the 11 th -leading scorer in school history. Mid American Conference Andrea de la Garza - Central Michigan De la Garza had a pair of great performance last week. She opened the week by posting three career highs to lead CMU's comeback victory at New Hampshire. Her career highs helped her post victories on vault with a and the all-around with a , and take second on bars with a Her score on vault matches the top score posted in the MAC this season while her bars scored is tied for second-best and her all-around score is third-best. In CMU's victory over Bowling Green, de la Garza posted four top three finishes, finishing behind a teammate in all four events. She was second on bars (9.825) and in the all-around (39.150) while taking third on beam (9.750) and floor (9.850). Her score on floor was a career-high. For the week, she finished in the top five in all 10 events and was top three seven times. She scored at least a on every event and averaged a score of Ashley Guerra - Northern Illinois In the 2011 State of Illinois Classic Championships, a quadrangular meet featuring NIU, No. 16 Illinois, Illinois State and Illinois-Chicago, NIU junior Ashley Guerra posted a career best on balance beam and tied her season high with a on uneven parallel bars to help lead NIU to a second-place finish in the team race. Northern Illinois scored its highest team score in two seasons with a , with Guerra tying for fourth place on bars and tying for eighth on balance beam. 4 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Marcy Miller UC-Davis UC Davis senior Marcy Miller (Huntington Beach, CA) became the sixth Aggie in school history to hit the 39-point barrier in the all-around, scoring an even 39, helping UC Davis' season-best at Sacramento State. She posted a 9.70 on beam, 9.80 on floor, on vault, and on bars. Miller s vault helped UCD compile a school-record total in that event. Pac-10 Conference Deanna Graham - Arizona Deanna Graham was one of the key figures in Arizona s win over BYU, New Hampshire, and Texas Western. Graham, a junior from Tucson, Ariz., helped the Wildcats end the regular season with a bang, as Arizona earned a new season high score of Graham anchored the first rotation with a career-high score of to catapult the Cats to an early lead of Graham also finished first on the floor exercise earning a score of 9.875, and tied for third on bars as the Wildcats were just.01 shy of a 49, totaling a Graham s scores enabled her to post a season high all-around score of only 0.05 shy of her career high total. Special Performance of the Week Tauny Frattone - UCLA Junior Tauny Frattone won vault for the seventh consecutive meet, tying her career-high with a 9.95 after sticking her Yurchenko half on, front pike off vault. Western Athletic Conference Hannah Redmon Boise State Redmon, a senior from Sparks, Nev. (Flips USA) tied for the all-around title in her first all-around competition of the season, scoring a new career-best at a tri meet against Sacramento State and UC Davis. She also won the bars title by tying a career high with a She placed second on vault with a and tied for fourth on beam with a career-best score of She also placed second on floor with a Hailey Gaspar Boise State Gaspar, a sophomore from Los Alamitos, Calif.
