2 March Madness Activity 1 Directions: Choose a college basketball team in the March Madness tournament and create a list of the points they have scored in each of their games this season. No two students may choose the same team. My College Team is: Points Scored for the season are: Put the data in order from least to greatest: Calculate the following: Mean Mode Maximum: Median Range Minimum Create a histogram showing the number of games in each of the given point ranges.
3 March Madness Activity 2 Directions: In this part, you will use the regular season game statistics for two teams that will play each other in this round. The match-up you have been assigned is: vs. Find the points scored by your teams in each Conference game that they played in the regular season. Fill in the table below. Conference games should be marked on the team s schedule/results. Please use the college website to find schedule results. If you do not see any markings, please talk to me so I can help. 7 March Madness Activity 4 Directions: In this part, you will determine the point margin by which each remaining team in the tournament won their second round game. For example, if Purdue played Iowa State in the second round, and Perdue won then the point margin would be 8.
