TEAM The Hornets finished the month of March with an 11-5 record it marks the 13 th time in franchise history, the Hornets have had 10 or more wins in a month. HORNETS LOOKING TO FIND THREE-POINT STROKE AGAIN: Peja Stojakovic recently missed 15 games with back spasms, returning 4/3 at GSW during the time he missed, the Hornets are shooting just 30.9% (63-of-204) from three-point range New Orleans averaged just 4.4 3PM during Stojakovic s absence the Hornets three-point field goal percentage has significantly dropped with the absence of Stojakovic over those 15 games, the Hornets overall three-point FG% went from 37.9% to 34.7% from three-point range at one point during the season, the Hornets were hitting on 42.1% of triples and ranked as high as third in the NBA. 5 CP3 S SIGNATURE STAT LINE: Chris Paul had 26 points, 10 assists and five steals in the Hornets' win over MIN 3/18...it was Paul's fourth game this season with 25 points, 10 assists, and 5 steals only one other NBA player has even one such game in Nate Robinson on Feb. 11. WINNING SEASON IN THE BOOKS: With the win at MIL on 3/13, New Orleans captured their second-straight winning season the Hornets have had four 40-win seasons since moving to New Orleans. Paul is looking to become the only player in NBA history to lead the NBA in assists in steals in consecutive seasons. Paul is one of two players to record six triple-doubles this season (LeBron James - 7). Paul has had double-digit assists in 47 of 71 games this season... he has registered 13 games with 15 or more assists; a league-best. Chris Paul registered 26 points, 10 assists and five steals 3/18 vs. MIN, his fourth such game of the season only two other players have achieved that feat in the course of one season since 1986 Michael Jordan registered five such games during the campaign, while John Stockon had four performances of the same caliber during the season.
