Kaitlyn s brother and sister also played college basketball. 5. Kaitlyn is the coach of a Special Olympics basketball team. Senior (2-2) A tremendous senior leader, Kaitlyn Burke is averaging 5.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while starting all 29 games in her fifth season at Nebraska. Burke, who ranks ninth at NU in career three-pointers made with 7, is tied for second in career games played with. She played much of her junior season with a torn knee ligament, appearing in 29 games with three starts. Sidhu returned to the court in Nebraska s win over Vermont, playing 5 minutes and grabbing four rebounds after missing NU s first games of the season. She made her second appearance of the year in Nebraska s Big Ten debut in a 7-6 win at No. 6 Penn State and played in NU s Big Ten home win over Indiana on Jan. 5. Hooper owns 2 2-point games, including three -point efforts, while notching a Big Ten-best double-doubles. Hooper, who leads the Big Ten in rebounding (9.2 rpg) and is fourth in scoring (9. ppg), has produced double figures in 28 of 29 games.
