November alone is bringing the Phoenix to road games at Duquesne (Atlantic 10), North Dakota State (Summit League), Indiana State (Missouri Valley) and Virginia (ACC). SEEING DOUBLE: Sophomore Alec Brown was expected to lead the Phoenix offensively in , but the 7-foot-1 center has used his bigger frame to significantly increase his rebounding early this season. Brown has back-to-back double doubles with 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively to start the year. He has grabbed 21.1 percent of all rebounds when he is on the floor. BOARDWORK: Led by Brown and a deeper, longer frontline, Green Bay expected to be an even better rebounding team in The Phoenix had a +1.7 rebounding margin a season ago, and through two games this year have grabbed 32 more rebounds than its opponents. BLOCK PARTY: Brown shattered the single-season blocked shots record in his freshman campaign and has picked up where he left off. The 7-foot-1 center swatted 67 shots in , 20 more than the previous single-season record. With six blocks in two contests this season, Brown has 73 career swats and is now sixth on the program s all-time list. He had three blocks in last season s meeting with the Bison.
