2 WOUNDED COUGARS: Junior Marcus Moore (Inglewood, Calif.) had surgery (Jan. 24) to remove bone chips in his right ankle and is out for the season the point guard was the No. 2 scorer in the Pac-10 at 19.3 points per game as a team, the Cougars have missed 41 games due to injury. GETTING A FRESH START: Largely due to injuries, Washington State has started 13 different players and 10 different lineups the Cougars have used a different starting lineup in each of the last four games freshman Randy Green (Renton) made his first start at California Thursday sophomore Thomas Kelati (Walla Walla) is the only Cougar to appear in all 24 games, having started each outing for WSU this season a breakdown of the Cougar starting lineups this season. COUGARS BREAK STREAK: Behind a season and team-high 22 points from redshirt freshman Randy Green (Renton), Washington State snapped a 21-game Pac-10 and 14-game overall losing streak with a win over Oregon State, Feb. 22. GREEN EARNS SCHOLARSHIP: Washington State Head Coach Paul Graham announced this week that freshman Randy Green (Renton) will receive a scholarship next season Green, a walk-on from Rainier Beach High School, redshirted last season and has appeared in 13 games this season, including the last four as a starter he is averaging 20 points in his last two games. SENIOR NIGHT: Saturday s game against Washington will mark the final home game for five Cougar seniors highlighting this year s class is Milton Riley (Gardena, Calif.) Riley has started 17 games, averaging 7.5 points and 4.8 rebounds he is currently tied for sixth on the WSU all-time blocks list with 89.
