2 Entry Fee: $200.00* per team. Make checks payable to City of Chardon. Complete rosters must be turned in with check to hold entry spot. 3- team discount - $ per team Mail to: Erik Hoenigman P.O. BOX 312 Chardon, Ohio *Entry fee is NON REFUNDABLE Eligibility: Players must play in their appropriate grade division or players may play up ( i.e. a 4 th grader may play on a 5 th grade team). All players ages must be indicated on team rosters. Birth Certificates should be available for inspection for all players during tournament play. Players may only appear on ONE roster. Community teams ONLY: All players must reside within the same city and/or the same school system. Non-conforming teams will be disqualified from bracket play. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. Tournament Rosters: Awards: Must be filled out completely on the registration form and returned with entry fee. Team rosters are limited to 12 players and 3 coaches per team. Individual trophies will be awarded to the champion and runner up in each division.

3 TOURNAMENT RULES Format: Insurance: Uniforms: Pool play format EACH TEAM GUARANTEED MINIMUM 3 GAMES Each organization and individual participant in the tournament must be covered by their own organizations and/or their own individual insurance policy(ies). Each team must supply their own jerseys with numbers on either the front or back of jerseys. Tie Breakers Pool Play 1. Head-to-Head competition 2. Best point differential (Max. 15 pts/game) 3. Least points given up 4. Most points scored 5. Coin flip NOTE: in the event of a 3 team tie, head-to-head competition is not used. The top 2 teams are determined based on the remaining tie breakers. Ejection: Grace Period: Any player, coach or fan that is ejected from the game will be automatically suspended for the remainder of the tournament. There will be a 10-minute grace period. If your team is not ready to play by that time, the game will be a forfeit and the score will be recorded as Games may start up to 10 minutes before scheduled game time if head coaches for both teams are in agreement and both teams have had 5 minutes of warm up time. THE INTERPRETATION OF RULES AND ALL DECISIONS OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR ARE FINAL.

4 GAME RULES 1. Rules: Ohio High School Athletic Rules Apply (except where noted). 2. Length of Game: Game shall consist of 2 halves lasting 20 minutes each with a 4 minute halftime. Clock stops on all whistles only during the last minute of the 1 st half and the last 5 minutes of the 2 nd half. Overtime periods shall be 2 minutes with the clock stopping on all whistles. 3. Scoring: The official score sheet will be kept at the scorer s table. The score book and the clock will be kept by a tournament employee. 4. Referees: Two certified Referees will be provided for all games. 5. Time outs: Each team receives two full time outs per half and one additional timeout for each overtime period. Unused timeouts in the 1 st half do not carry over to the 2 nd half. Unused timeouts in the 2 nd half do not carry over to overtime. Each time out will last 1 minute. 6. Defenses: 4th, 5th, & 6th grade Divisions: Any defense will be permitted the entire game. If the lead is 15 points or greater, no full court pressing is allowed. 3rd Grade Division- Man-to-Man defense only. Full court pressing only allowed in last 2 minutes of 2nd half & overtime periods. 7. Free- Throws: 1 and 1 on the 7th team foul in the half. Double bonus on the 10th team foul in the half. Free throws will be shot at 15 feet in the 4th, 5th and 6th grade divisions. Shooter cannot jump over the free throw line. Free throws will be shot from 13 ft. for the 3rd grade division. Shooter can jump over the free throw line.
