The guy's basically an animal; a 6-8 freak athlete who can handle the rock and is as fast as a guard. Rivers with one second remaining in regulation and went to the line for two shots and a chance to win the game after missing the first shot, he was pure on his second attempt to put the Seminoles ahead Clemson was unable to get a shot off and the Seminoles moved onto the second round he was incredible in the first half as he led all scorers with 18 points on six of eight shooting from the field and four-of-five shooting from the line scored nine points in the final five minutes of the first half to help Florida State parlay a tie with 4:47 left on the clock to a halftime lead Thornton tied the game at 30 with a 3-pointer, and added three free throws and another 3-point shot to give the Seminoles the all-important half-time lead his second 3-point shot of the span came with five seconds remaining and gave the Seminoles the momentum heading into the second half scored a game-high 19 points and added two blocked shots and three steals as Florida State played host to Clemson in third consecutive game of 20 points or more against Duke in leading Florida State to the first win in program history at Cameron Indoor Stadium, was on in both halves as he scored 11 first half points and totaled 10 second half points as the Seminoles outscored the Blue Devils, 35-31, in the final 20 minutes to gain the monumental victory in the see-saw game that saw the Blue Devils lead by as many
