Dufficy is one of two players in the Mountain West and one of 23 players nationally to have three or more double-doubles this year. Dufficy now has eight double-doubles in her young career, the fourth-most of any State player since the reinstatement of the program. Ashlee Brown holds the double-double record with 22 in her two-year career with the Aggies. Dufficy ranks fourth behind Brown, Ali Aird Marchant (12) and Jenna Johnson (11). BIG SKY COUNTRY Monday will be State s second-straight game against an opponent from the Big Sky Conference. The Aggies will also play Montana State next week in the Maui Classic. All-time, State is against schools in the Big Sky, facing Idaho State the most of the league s 12 teams. HERE, KITTY KITTY Monday s game will be the second of four games State will play against a team with a feline mascot. The Aggies have already taken on the Arizona Wildcats and are yet to play the Montana State Bobcats and BYU Cougars after the Idaho State Bengals. BACK IN THE GAME Redshirt sophomore guards Lindsey Jensen and Victoria Price are back on the court for the Aggies this season after both redshirting the year. Jensen played in the first game of the year at UC Irvine, her first appearance since March 1, She took a redshirt year to manage her Type I diabetes diagnosis. Price first played at Southern this season, her first game since Jan. 31, She suffered an ACL injury in that game at Nevada, and spent the season rehabbing her injury. THE DUFFICY DEFENSE In USU s game at Southern, sophomore guard/forward Shannon Dufficy led the team with a career-high 19 rebounds. Those 19 boards are the most by a State player in a game since 1983, when Sharon Epps tallied a school-record 22 rebounds in three games. Dufficy is now tied for eighth-place on the single-game rebound list with the 19. Additionally, Dufficy is tied for 15th and 21st with single-game performances of 17 and 16 rebounds, respectively, last season. Dufficy currently leads the Mountain West and ranks 17th nationally in rebounding, averaging 12.3 per game. THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS State players currently lead the Mountain West in scoring and rebounding. Sophomore guard Olivia West is the league s top scorer, averaging 19.8 points per game. START YOUR ENGINES The Aggie starters have dominated the floor this season, leading the team in minutes, points and rebounds. The starting five have been responsible for at least 70 percent of the statistics in those three categories. The USU starters have put together 217 points and 110 rebounds in 574 minutes played. In last week s game at Southern alone, the starters scored 58 of the team s 67 points, while securing 34 of 43 rebounds. STARTING LINEUP SHIFT State has used two different starting lineups in its four games this season. Eliza West, Olivia West, Rachel Brewster, Shannon Dufficy and Deja Mason made up the starting five for the first three, before the coaching staff moved to a smaller lineup against Southern. Jessie Geer made her first start of the season against the Thunderbirds, in place of Mason. OUT-SHOOTING THE OPPONENT Despite the team s 1-3 record, State has had a higher field goal percentage than its opponent in all but one game this season. The Aggies shot a season-high 50.9 percent (29-of-57) from the floor in the season opener at UC Irvine. On the year, State is shooting 44.0 percent (109-of-248) from the field, while holding its opponents to a 39.2 (105-of-268) shooting percentage UTAH STATE WOMEN S BASKETBALL

This is only the third time in Mountain West history that a school has swept the Freshman of the Year accolades. UNLV freshmen claimed the award for the season, while TCU freshmen did so for FAMILIAR FACES The Aggies return seven letterwinners this season, along with a pair of players who redshirted the campaign.
