Another Gr8 Milestone Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin scored a goal on Thursday at Florida and now sits just points shy of, career NHL points. Ovechkin, who has led the NHL in goals in each of the last four seasons and is in his th season with the Capitals, is aiming to become the 7th player in NHL history to record, points with one franchise. Last season, Ovechkin won the Maurice Rocket Richard Trophy as the NHL s leading goal scorer and was a finalist for the Mark Messier Leadership Award, given to the
