1 2019 WESTERN CANADA WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS - SCHEDULE Start time both days is 8:00 AM SHARP All other times are listed as approximate start times. Please listen for announcements and follow us on social media for updates. and Please be at your stage 45 minutes prior to the posted time as we will not hold competitions if we run ahead of schedule. Dancers can refer to the back of their competitor cards to see their entry and location of each competition. Championships - back to back competitions are listed in the schedule. We will run in the following order: hard shoe (Hornpipe then Treble Jig), then soft shoe (Reel then Slip Jig), then set dances in the order the dancers appeared onstage for the first round. Dancers in the U10 championship competitions who are either younger open dancers, or who are U10 s competing at the All Ireland will be permitted to do the traditional set dance for their third round. In most cases, awards will be given on the stage where you danced. Exceptions are noted in the schedule, please listen for announcements for any further updates.
