2 Lauing Quarter Horses is located in Central South Dakota. Denny & Doris philosophy is that every animal raised is given a job. Our operation does not allow for any ATV s, but instead our horses are trained and rode in rough pastures along the bluffs of the Missouri River and Medicine Creek. Denny puts a lot of time and effort into training their horses making sure the horse learns the fundamentals & many aspects of the performance/ranch horse industry the old fashioned way.lots of on-the-job training. No matter what is asked of our horses, whether it be cutting, roping, barrel racing.they have the brains and ability to do it all. We think our broodmare band compliments our stallions creating a well built program. Our goal is to produce all around prospects that are athletic, correct confirmation, nice dispositions and excellent bloodlines that will provide you with the best opportunity to be successful on the ranch or in the arena. With a joining of two families, we have managed to give 5 beautiful children the opportunity to learn and compete with these wonderful creatures while they were growing up; Keith Pazour and wife Erin, Scott Pazour, Dan Pazour and wife Tessa, Kaylie Lauing and Shean Lauing. As our family grows, we now have the pleasure to do the same for our Grandson Kaden and Granddaughter Trinity. 3 Welcome It s hard to believe another year has passed and once again we are preparing for our annual sale. A lot of changes are occurring throughout the horse industry with the closing of the United States slaughter plants and the increasing cost of fuel. However we are optimistic that these are only small obstacles to our business of raising and training quality Quarter Horses. has gone through some changes as well. We are introducing two new stallions to our program; Lil Easy Feature from the Bob Jordon estate and Colonel Frenchman a two year old sire in waiting (please refer to their pedigrees in the reference sire portion of the catalogue). Without overlooking the mares who we value as the cornerstone of a sound breeding program, we have continued to add broodmares to our band by developing a great mix of foundation bloodlines that are creating outstanding offspring that are proving themselves on the ranch or in the arena. This year we have decided to offer for sale to the public a few select mares that will be pasture bred by our stallions for 2009 foals.
