Hope your 4-H Club has a fun way to recruit and kick off the new year! National 4-H Week is October 5-11, as a 4-H Club or 4-H member please be thinking of fun and exciting ways to recruit new members to your 4-H Club. Also recruitment can be done in any grade 4th - 12th grades. You are never too old and it is never too late to find your Ticket to Success in 4-H! 7 4-H Members & Clubs: Ideas to promote 4-H during National 4-H Week 4-H Spirit Day - October 8 - Wear a 4-H T-Shirt to school or Green to work Give a 4-H Clover Sticker/Tattoo/Pencil to a Friend Decorate Business Windows or Main Street in your Community Make Clover Cookies and bring to a Day Care or Nursing Home 4-H Hayride & invite the Community Hang a Flyer in your School promoting next 4-H Meeting (Extension Office has posters where you can write in your club information Have a 4-H Family Chili Cook Off Bring Clover Cookies to your Class in School Contact a local Radio Station or Newspaper with a 4-H Club picture Invite a 4-H Teen or 4-H Alumni to talk about the positive influence 4-H was in their life Hand out Green Apples and attach a 4-H - Good 4U Note Have a Cutest Clover Contest in your Club!
