4 World Show Entry Forms Rules and Regulations General Information: Horse owner and rider must be current members of the ApHC, ApCHA and a regional club in order to show; this applies to all listed ApCHA classes. All memberships and stall arrangements available at the show. NCHA rules for judging apply. Exhibitor must wear, long sleeve shirt, jeans, belt, chaps, boots and a cowboy hat. Don't forget to get your horse inspected when you arrive at the show. In all Classes World and Reserve World Champions will receive a Belt Buckle from Molly s Custom Silver. World Champions receive a trophy. 30% of entry fee will be held back. The remaining entry money will be paid back to entries, according to NCHA Payout Guidelines. Prizes will be awarded for 1st through 5th Place. Office Charge: $10.00 per horse There will be no Paid Practice, due to lack of participation. The flag will still be available for exhibitors to use for a fee of $ NON PRO JEFF SMITH SADDLE: Saddle will be awarded to one of the champions from the Jane Norman Masters Memorial, Non Pro Bonanza, $1,000 Limited Rider, and $15,000 Limited Rider. The winners from these classes will draw based on the score received (high to low) from a hat for the chance to win the saddle. Saddle sponsored by Spot On Performance Horses. Entry Deadline: Entries are due in the ApCHA office on September 30, Entries received after this date will be too late to include in the printed Championship Show Program. Late fee of $50 per class applies if sent in after September 30th. You must have your late entries no later than 4 PM the day before the class. IMA SMART MOVE 3 Year Old Futurity: Any 3-Year-Old Appaloosa horse registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club. All Futurity FINALISTS will be assessed an additional cattle charge. The Futurity will consist of one elimination and a Finals round, with the winner being determined by the added score of both runs. Added Money: $3, GAY BARS SILVER 4 Year Old Derby: Any 4-Year-Old Appaloosa horse registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club. The Derby will consist of an elimination run and a Finals; with the winner being determined by the added score of both runs. All finalists will be assessed an additional cattle charge. Added Money: $1, IMA SMART MOVE 5/6 Year Old Classic: Any 5 or 6 Year Old Appaloosa registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club. The classic will consist of one run, with the winner determined by the highest score. Added Money: $2,
5 Jane Norman Memorial (Masters Non-Pro Cutting): This class is for Non-Pro riders 50 years of age and older. One run, highest score will determine winner. Winner will receive the Jane Norman check of $ Total Added Money: $1, Non-Pro Bonanza: This class is for Non-Pro riders that meet the requirements of the ApCHA. Any aged horse. One run, highest score determines the winner. Added Money: $ Limited Rider: Limited to Non Pro Riders. One run; highest score determines the winner. NEW FOR THIS YEAR: $1,000 Limited Rider Division: Rider must have earned less than $1,000 according to Equistat cutting earnings to be eligible for this class. $15,000 Limited Rider Division: Rider must have earned less than $15,000 according to Equistat cutting earnings to be eligible for this class. These divisions will be run together and placed separately, you can enter both divisions if you are eligible. Added Money: $ in each class. Ranch Cutting: Judged using a modified version of NCHA official rules. The modifications will only pertain to scoring as it related to reining the horse. Consideration shall be to the content of a run completed without reining a horse. A participant shall not be penalized for guiding or reining a horse on a loose rein. A participant excessively reining a horse or using direct force by jerking or pulling a horse around may be penalized. This rule may be subject to each individual judge s interpretation.
