PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME 05 April 2011 Tuesday Team Captains Meeting for the both Minis GSs at Parc Olympique, Méribel (after the TCM for Children) Approx 18.30h 06 April 2011 Wednesday Minis GS 1 at the Stade in Mottaret 08 April 2011 Friday Minis GS 2 at the Stade in Mottaret Followed by the medal ceremony for both race days in finish area approx. 30 minutes after the completion of the competition RACE OFFICE Until 01 April 2011, the race office will be at Puffins, Lower Station Road, Newick, East Sussex, BN8 4HU, Tel.: From 03 April 2011, messages can reach us via ros.humphrey@btinternet.com. The race office and the official notice board in the resort will be at the Parc Olympique, Méribel and the office will be open from 03 April Race office telephone number: but please be aware, the office stays closed during the races as we all work on the hill. LIFT PASSES Competitors, friends and relatives who stay in the Méribel Valley (Méribel, Mottaret, Méribel Village and Les Allues (this does NOT include Bride Les Bains, La Tania, etc.) can obtain discounted lift passes as follows: Category of Lift Pass Cost Méribel Valley 6 Day Pass Méribel Valley 7 Day Pass Trois Vallees 6 Day Pass Trois Vallees 7 Day Pass

2 To obtain these prices you have to print out the attached Voucher (in colour); get it signed by your hotel/chalet staff after your arrival in Méribel; now take it to the race office to get it counter-signed and dated. When buying your lift pass at the Méribel office (only) present the completed voucher. On Saturday, 02 April 2011, Maud Instone, Chief of Championsships for the British Children s Champs, will be at the Race Office from 15.00h until 18.30h to make sure your Voucher gets signed and dated, ready for the lift pass office. For other area ski pass information contact: Méribel Alpina by contact@meribelalpina.com, by phone +33 (0) , or at FIS CODE OF CONDUCT All competitors & coaches must abide at all times by the FIS code of conduct (on and off the piste). This ensures safety on the slopes and is governed by law. In short, the FIS Code of conduct says: Respect Do not endanger others. Stopping - Only stop at the edge of the piste or where you can easily be seen. Control - Adapt the manner and speed of your skiing to your ability and to the general conditions on the mountain. Climbing - When climbing up or down, always keep to the side of the piste. Assistance - In case of accidents provide help and alert the rescue service. Choice of route - The skier/snowboarder in front has priority - leave enough space. Overtaking - Leave plenty of space when overtaking a slower skier/snowboarder. Entering and starting Look up and down the mountain each time before starting or entering a marked run. Signs - Obey all signs and markings - they are there for your safety. Identification - All those involved in an accident, including witnesses, should exchange names and addresses.
