1 Spec Towns Invitational April 6-7,2018 Teams: Georgia, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, Albany State Location: Spec Towns Track 1 Selig Cir, Athens, GA General Information The meet is a full-team invitational meet to honor former Georgia Head Coach, Forrest Spec Towns. Towns was the 1936 Olympic Champion and World-record holder in the 110 Hurdles. We want the meet to provide top quality competition for the competitors. Please be conservative with your entries, as we would prefer to not run multiple sections. Individual entry fee is $25 per person and must be paid before April 4, Colleges and Universities may make checks payable to: THE UNIVERISTY OF GEORGIA ATHLETIC

2 ASSOCIATION (UGAA). Entry fees are non-refundable. Fees will be based on athletes entered not athletes who show up to compete. Note: Individual entries will not be refunded for a no show. Packet Pick Up Friday, April 6th from 9am-12pm at the track. Bus Drop Off/Team & Spectator Parking Team buses can drop off at the Smith Street entrance. On Friday, April 6th buses can park at the Turner Complex (Soccer/Softball). On Saturday, April 7th buses can park in Lot S14 (Foley). Team vans and spectators can park in the Carlton Street Parking Deck. Parking fees are $10/day and are not the responsibility of UGAA or UGA Track and Field. Medical Athletic Trainers from each school will have access to the training room. The facility will be available for the duration of the meet. 3 Track Information Weigh-ins will be announced. Any implements that do not meet specifications will be impounded until completion of competition. All warm-ups must take place outside the track area on the artificial turf. Starting blocks will be furnished. Do not bring your own. Contestants may use flats or 1/4 inch spikes only on all running surfaces. Spikes longer than 1/4 inch are not acceptable. Spikes that are 3/8 inch will be allowed for field events.
