6 Outdoor Halloween Party Games By: John K. Here at PTO we think it s important to move and have fun while moving! Healthy way to be! So, let s have fun! This is just like a traditional egg/spoon race but instead of using eggs you will use plastic eyeballs (found at the dollar store or you can paint ping pong balls to resemble). You can have races where all the participates hold a spoon and races to a finish line balancing the eyeball on the spoon. They cannot hold or shield the eyeball with their hand and if it falls off their spoon they are out. Another way this game can be played is as a relay race. Rules: To play this version divide the participates into two groups and line them up at the start line. The first player on each team places their plastic eyeball on the spoon and race to the finish line and back. If they drop the eyeball they must freeze for five seconds before picking it up and resuming the race. When they get back to their team they pass the spoon and eye to the next player who continues the race. The first team whose members complete the race wins. 6

Resume Know your resume inside out, Make sure that your resume is up to date. Make sure that you know all the dates on your resume properly The night before the interview Choose what you will wear Get a good night s sleep On the day of the interview Get showered, shaved, etc. Eat a good breakfast Sing some songs to feel exuberant and happy Dressing: Dress professionally in a suit not in black. Easy on the makeup and jewelry. Easy on the perfume. Get suited up pressed, polished and all that jazz Be evidently and genuinely confident and ready to get busy! Good Feeling Feel fantastic, and enthusiastic about the meeting Get to your interview early even if you have to sit in your car or stand outside Be on time in the building Be early but not too early. Arrive in good time. Employers don t always know where to put you. 15 minutes early is fine. A half hour is pushing it. Always walk in five minutes early with a smile and treat the person at the front desk with the utmost respect. Never under estimate the power and opinion of the gatekeeper During the Interview Relax.and SMILE Have a smile on your face always. When sitting sit straight up and look excited about the opportunity. Make sure you will sit straight not on the edge of the chair or not sulking in it. Be yourself If you re the right person for the job, you ll be the one to get the job. If you re not you won t. 8

15 Recipe 1515 By: John K. INGREDIENT LIST lbs lean ground beef 1 2 cup onion, chopped 2teaspoons all-purpose flour 1cup salsa 1 2 cup chili sauce 1cup frozen corn 1(4 ounce) can green chilies, chopped DIRECTION FOR RECIPE IN A LARGE SKILLET, COOK BEEF AND ONION OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL MEAT IS NO LONGER PINK; DRAIN. IN A SMALL BOWL, COMBINE THE FLOUR, SALSA AND CHILI SAUCE UNTIL BLENDED; STIR INTO SKILLET. ADD THE CORN, CHILIES AND BROWN SUGAR. 1. Transfer to a deep-dish 9-in. pie plate. Unroll pastry; place over filling. With a sharp knife, cut out a face to resemble a jack-o'lantern; flute edges. Beat egg and food coloring; brush over pastry. 3. Bake at 450 degrees for 9-11 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
