1 C & C 27 MKI Year: 1972 Current Price: US$ 8,750 Located In The Northeast, USA Hull Material: Fiberglass Engine/Fuel Type: Single Diesel With an attractive bow profile and well integrated cabin trunk the C&C 27 offers some very gracious lines while at the same time enjoying a generous beam, short overhangs and a wide transom that give the C&C 27 itsʼ unique sailing and cruising abilities. Stepping below youʼd swear she was a much bigger yacht with her ample counter space, standing headroom, usable galley and large icebox. Youʼll be amazed at the storage space, seating and the large enclose-able head before the spacious V-berth. My wife, myself and our 85lb Labrador, all from Seattle, are spending the summer exploring the East Coast and found the C&C 27 was the perfect boat for it. Offshore capable with her 2.08 capsize ratio and 4ʼ 3 keel, she is also small enough to explore almost any inland waterway and with her sail area to displacement ratio, she can do it under sail. Libra is proving to be a very capable and comfortable boat for 2 adults and one dog on a 4 to 6 month cruise. She has sailed to weather in 30 knot blows plowing through 4 to 5ʼ seas like she was born to do it and, she has ghosted across the sounds with her 170% genoa up still moving along at over 5 knots. She is offered for sale at a very competitive price knowing about the many items that have been upgraded on the boat, her pedigree, and the steady working diesel sipping Westerbeke diesel motor. Comparable boats are listed at well over $10,000 throughout the Great Lakes, Canada, and the NE. Her decks have had the non-skid redone (June 2012), many of the items being re-bedded and all is in working order. Her light blue hull has a few scratches from her years of service, but it is nothing a little filler and easyepoxy couldnʼt fix and leave Libra in bristol condition. Next aft is the forepeak bunk 6ʼ 3, plenty of room for two adults. Shelf storage space runs down both sides of the forepeak. The Middle V board is removable and underneath is a partially enclosed boot storage area. The forepeak cushions are original but serviceable. Under the forepeak bunk forward is a good size storage area followed by the 36 gallon FRP water tank followed by the 6 gallon holding tank to port. Starboard under the bunk is open for storage. There is a folding door to close off the forepeak from the Head area. Following aft after the forward bulkhead, on the starboard side is a very large hanging locker that has soft shelves installed on the forward end leaving plenty of room for hanging items with boot/shoe storage underneath, with a small storage shelf and portlight above. On Port is the Head Sink with both manual and electric water pumps and single round stainless sink. Ample storage compartments are behind the head and

4 under the sink within the cabinet with a portlight above. Next back is the manual Jabsco marine head, new 2012, followed by the main bulkhead and sliding door to close off the head from the Salon. Aft of the main bulkhead to starboard is the long salon bunk running fore and aft with a large storage shelf behind the seat back. Ample storage is under this bunk with the center storage area being molded into the seat to keep items from resting against the hull and possibly in bilge water. There is a lee cloth under the bunk that connects to the handrails on the cabin top. Headroom is 6ʼ 2 in this area. To Port is the Dinette table that drops down easily into a double bunk. There is storage under both seats and a storage shelf along the wall under the deck. The Salon cushions have been replaced and are a royal blue color. Next aft, behind two half bulkheads, to Starboard is the Galley Stove with new counter tops replaced burner stove up front with ample dish storage behind, drawer under stove with large cabinet storage below the drawer. Then looking aft across the back of the cabin is the Stainless Rectangular sink with foot pump fresh and salt water with DC panel behind sink. Centered on the companion way is shelf space with Stereo, VHF, Fire Extinguisher and Battery switch mounted along this area. To Port is the large well insulated top loading icebox with sliding bin. Outboard of the icebox is a large dry storage area. Along aft wall is the new, 2012, Bluesea shore power breaker panel. Interior manual bilge pump is located under the starboard bunk aft, accessed from in the salon. Exterior manual bilge pump is located in the cockpit floor. The cockpit has ample storage under both seats w/ motor under companionway and fuel tank out of the way on the forward edge of the starboard lazerette.
