Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control in unexpected situations. Note: If components need to be replaced, use only identical replacement parts. Specific Safety Rules Do not stand or sit on SawHorse. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 440 lb. Make sure Safety Pins are secured in Leg Holes before using. Make sure Legs are the same height before using. Always wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during use. Use on hard, flat surface only that is capable of supporting weight of Sawhorse and workpiece. Inspect before each use. DO NOT USE IF DAMAGED IN ANY WAY. Maintain labels and nameplates on the Sawhorse. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement. This product is not a toy. 6 Operating Instructions Read the entire Important Safety Information section at the beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product. Set-up and Operating Instructions Support Braces (9) Legs (1) Handle (15) Legs (1) Lay the Sawhorse face down on the ground or workbench. (See Figure 1.) Unfold Legs (1) on right side and spread them as far as they will open. Then unfold the Legs (1) on the left side and spread them also. Unfold the Support Brace (9) from one Leg (1) to the other. These will help stabilize the Legs (1). Tighten the Wing Nut (8) on each end of Support Bar (9) to secure it in place. Carefully turn the Sawhorse over so it is standing on the four Legs (1). Loosen the Wing Nut (8) and push on the Spring Loaded Safety Pin (14) that holds each leg in position. Slide the Leg Extension Tubes (11) in (or out) until they are at the correct height for your project. Release the spring-loaded safety pin so that it enters one of the ten positioning holes in the Leg Extension Tube (11). Make sure you set each Leg (1) to the same height. The Spring Loaded Safety Pins (14) will hold each Leg securely. As an added safety measure, re-tighten Wing Nuts (8) located on each Leg (1). When you are finished using this Sawhorse, re-adjust and re-fold the Legs (1) into the underside of the Sawhorse Top (7) by reversing steps 1 through 5 of this section. It will then be ready for storage. The Sawhorse has a handle (15) on one side for carrying. REV 07h Page 6

7 Maintenance And Servicing Damaged equipment can fail, causing serious personal injury. Do not use damaged equipment. Have any problem corrected before further use. Cleaning and Maintenance BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Sawhorse. Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. After Use, clean external surfaces of the tool with clean, moist cloth.
