TENDER NOTIFICATION Tender notification no: BIMS/HOSP/SUP-1/TEND/OXY/CR-138/ , Dated: Tenders are invited for supply of medical oxygen and nitrous oxide gases cylinders through e-procurement website for the daily use in BIMS Hospital, Belgaum, for one year period or liquid oxygen plant is setup whichever is earlier. The manufacturer or its authorised suppliers can quote. 1) The technical bid should contain all documents as per the tender condition and also EMD of Rs. 50, as per e-portal 2) Financial bid quoting rate of each item should be shown separately with unit wise along with all types of vat, charges etc. On the unit rate. Sir, I / We hereby agree to supply the medical oxygen and nitrous oxide gases cylinders mentioned in tender format and as per the terms and conditions mentioned in the Annexure 1, at the rates inclusive of vat and charges noted against them for delivery of F.O.R Main store, Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences, Belgaum,. As the said cylinders will be delivered as per terms and conditions of Tender and in default of doing so, I / We pay the etc., cost involved in local purchase of the institute. I / We have enclosed the necessary documents of the Director, Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences, Belgaum. 4 4 ANNEXURE I BELGAUM INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, BELGAUM. Tender notification no : BIMS/HOSP/SUP-1/TEND/OXY/CR-138/ dtd : TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SUPPLY OF MEDICAL OXYGEN & NITROUS OXIDE GASES CYLINDERS. 1. Tenders are invited for the supply of refilled of Medical oxygen and nitrous oxide gases cylinders for the period of one year or liquid oxygen plant is up whichever is earlier. Tender should be upload through Karnataka e-procurement website. 2. The cover of Financial Bid should contain only tender format of Annexure 2 a) The E.M.D. of unsuccessful tenderer will be refunded as soon as tenders are finalized. Interest will not be paid on E.M.D Amount. b) For fulfillment of the contract the successful tenderer will be required to furnish security deposit of 5% Demand Draft (purchase order total amount) payable at Belgaum (Govt banks/ schedule Bank) in the name of Director, Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences, Belgaum, 15 days from the date intimation of the acceptance of tender. c) The E.M.D and Security Deposit will not bear any interest. The refund of Security Deposit is not permissible till the satisfactory completion of supply order. 5 5 REFER TECHNICAL BIDS ANNEXURE -I 4) Documents establishing the bidders eligibility & qualification without this the tender will be rejected. 1) EMD Challan as per e-portal. 2) Drug license duly renewed up to date. 3) Latest sales tax clearance certificate for the tender current year. 5) Rates quoted should be inclusive of vat, however all other types of vat duties and charges is applicable should be mentioned separately. 6) The delivery is to be made on daily basis as per our indents. The delivery should be made soon after receipt of indent within 24 hours. 7) The Director shall have the right to negotiate with the party / parties offering the Tender, and then finalise the contract. The Director is at liberty to alter, delete any conditions and also to include fresh conditions. 8) Being an emergency supply, the supplier should have manufacturing plant within the radius of not more than 150 kms from BIMS, Belgaum, and should be compulsorily functioning for more than two year failing which the tender will be rejected. 9) The period of this Tender is for one year from the date of order of the accepting the tender. 10) The Institute will have right to extend the period of this contract for the stipulated period if necessary and will be binding on the Tenderer to supply the items at the same rates as per the terms and conditions as mentioned therein, during the extended period.

6 6 11) Tenderer should specify the rate per unit specified in Schedule Plus vat will be allowed and other charges. No Incidental charges for door delivery at the Medical Stores of the Institute. Tenderers who are not residents of Belgaum should make their own arrangements for supply to Belgaum. 12) The cylinders available in BIMS are graded from sizes. However, it is noticed that, the manifold (bulk) cylinders are found to be various capacities in this Hospital. Hence, the rates may be quoted per cubic meter for oxygen (O2) and per 1000 ltr. for Nitrous Oxide (N2O) inclusive of pretesting, filling sealing of cylinders and for delivery to main medical stores of BIMS Hospital, Belgaum should be considered. 13) The Director, Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences, Belgaum, reserves the right to approve or reject any tender without assigning any reason, whatsoever, and decision of the Director is final and binding and no correspondence will be entertained thereon. 14) No Suit, Prosecution of any legal proceedings shall lie against the purchaser or B.I.M.S. Belgaum, or any person for anything which is done in good faith or intended to be done in pursuance of this tender including the tendered quantity of the items notified. 14) The bidder should specify detailed plan as to how they ensures regular 24X7 supply and responsible person at Belgaum for the same. 15 ) The Bidders should have his own fleet of Careers or should have firm commitment of transporters for regular supply and ensure no disruption either due to strike, accidents or any other reason.
