1 Building Supervisr Meeting Agenda 10/18/14 Emergency Actin Plans Scenari 1 Fire CALL NON EMERGENCY TO TELL THEM NOT TO DISPATCH FIRE ON ALARM MAKE ANNOUNCMENT TO ALL FACILITY The Scene Building Supervisr in charge is the in the skate shp 2 ther building supervisr in the skate shp and n the rink are assigned t be the skate schl crdinatr and a skate shp attendant 1 building supervisr ges int the medium activity rm and when fund says I am the fire, I am nt able t be extinguished with a fire extinguisher All ther building supervisrs are in the skate shp watching building supervisr in charge and taking ntes (psitive and negative) The Actin: the fire alarm ges ff The respnse: the building supervisr shuld instruct staff t begin evacuatin f the building. Shuld make an annuncement ver the PA, and then g in search f the fire and call 911. : all staff and patrns have cleared the building and gathered n the west side f the ball fields Scenari 2 Medical Emergency Building supervisr in charge ges t skate shp. All ther building supervisrs g t large activity rm 1 persn in large activity rm is a victim f a severe laceratin, ne persn ges t alert the building supervisr, the rest f the peple are members f the fitness class The actin: a persn ges t the skate shp and tells the building supervisr we have a majr medical emergency in the large activity rm, smene fell, cut their leg, and is bleeding very badly. The respnse: Building supervisr shuld pick up the first aid kit and the AED and g t the large activity rm. Upn arrival they shuld start treating the bldy leg. During treatment the guest will g uncnscius

2 The building supervisr shuld tell smene t g call 911 and cme back, smene else t ready the AED, and begin assessing fr breathing and if needed begin CPR. The paramedics shuld be called and met in the frnt f the building The first aid equipment shuld be n site at the incident and used The AED shuld be n site and used Scenari 3 Severe Weather The Scene 1 building supervisr in the skate shp, the rest scattered arund the lbby and rink perimeter. The actin a phne call cmes in frm Mike saying that there is a trnad watch in effect and the facility must execute the severe weather EAP The respnse the supervisr must g t each area and put peple in safe harbr in place lcatins All peple are in a safe area (preferable clsest t where they were standing) The lcatin f the emergency ratins are knwn Scenari 4 Chemical leak One building supervisr is in the skate shp, all thers are skate guards n the ice and skate shp attendants in the skate shp The actin The hydrgen alarm abve the Zambni drs ges ff The respnse The supervisr shuld direct all staff t evacuate the building find a buddy t ensure accuntability that everyne gets ut The supervisr then calls 911 and ntifies them The supervisr shuld als check fr any symptms f patrns t help fire department Time is f the essence mve quickly The entire facility is evacuated t the west side f the ball fields The cause f the leak is determined and cmmunicated t the fire department All staff is accunted fr utside f the building Scenari 5 Cde Adam One building supervisr is in the skate shp, all thers are skate guards n the ice and skate shp attendants in the skate shp The actin mike reprts his child is missing (gives descriptin f Gabe)

4 Being supervisrs skate guards need t be skate guards r we will find peple wh want t (n ice, prfessinalism, cleaning) D we need t have an all staff meeting with this grup? Cnsistency needs t imprve I think half the staff is ding the wrk that needs t be dne and the ther half is nt. Please d sme self reflectin and find ut which half f the staff yu are in. In the past week I have received 1 clsing checklist (shuld have received 7) Last week n Friday night and Saturday night the facility was left very dirty, where the mrning supervisr spent almst their entire shift just getting the building back t an apprpriate cnditin. It s k t leave a small amunt f wrk fr the mrning supervisr, but t leave unmpped flrs and verflwing garbage s is unacceptable. This is the last time we are ging t have this discussin as a grup, ging frward I ll be speaking t individuals directly in rder t increase accuntability.
