7 Activity Descriptions All scheduled activities require reservations. Please contact Guest Reception at Children under the age of 12 must be supervised for all activities. Outdoor activities are trail and weather permitting. All prices are subject to applicable taxes. A 24 hour, full charge cancellation policy applies to all paid activities. An Intro to Geocaching The Rosseau is fortunate to have 3 registered geocaches close to or on resort property. If you haven t tried this newly popular world-wide phenomenon, now is the time! Join a member of our recreation team for a tutorial and some helpful hints to find these hidden caches. Candy Kabobs $10 for 2 kabobs Create 2 candy kabobs with your favourite chewy candies! Cannot guarantee allergy free, gluten free or kosher. Parent supervision required. Registration required. Arts & Crafts: Mini Paddle Decorating $25 per paddle Decorative mini paddles have been found on walls of the most spectacular cottages in Muskoka. Now it s time for you to join the trend and bring a piece of this northern activity home with you. Parental supervision required. Registration required. Adult Bingo Join in on a classic game of Bingo for your chance to win a prize! Registration required. Bike the Backroads Ages 12 and up A casual and fun guided ride along the beautiful back roads of Muskoka. Limited space available. Registration required. Join the Recreation team for an exciting game of soccer 3 vs 3. Build a Rosseau Buddy $25 per buddy The perfect souvenir! Build your own stuffed animal to take home with you. Clay Sculpting Contact Guest Reception for location information. $30 per person Meet with a local Muskokan artist to create your very own clay sculpture. Fun for the whole family! Registration required. Date Night Open to children between the ages of 4 and 12. $40 per child Allow us to host your children for the evening while you and your partner enjoy a meal at one of our intimate restaurants or relax at the spa. Your kids will be treated to one of our chef s pizzas followed by crafts, games and a movie; all safely supervised by our Recreation team. Space is limited and registration is required.

Take a break for some fresh air with a casual stroll around the property. Let our experienced Recreation team share their knowledge about local flora, wildlife and seasonal fall changes. Registration required. Movie Night Contact Guest Reception for location information. View a family friendly movie, theater-style. There s nothing more reenergizing than fresh air and a quick walk in the morning. Join a member of our recreation team or speak with the Guest Reception team about routes to walk on your own. Registration required. The Rosseau Art Tour Have you been admiring the art at The Rosseau? Take this tour with a local artist who will guide you through The Rosseau s varying art displays with collections from artists near and far. Registration required. Watercolour Journaling Contact Guest Reception for location information. $30 per person The written word, whether online or on paper, continues to be one of the best forms of therapy, expression and creativity. A local Muskoka Artist will teach guests in this laid back class, the basics of sketching, journaling and watercolour painting, combining the written word with the richness of hand drawn illustrations. Cost includes your own book and watercolour supplies to take home. Registration required. Wild about Wetlands With dip nets in hand, join the Recreation team as you head to the wetlands to learn about aquatic insects, reptiles, and amphibians. Parent supervision required. 9 Daily Activities Bike Rentals Want to experience the back roads of Muskoka but don t feel up for a walk? Visit SOAR at the Waterfront Cabana for all your biking needs! Helmets are mandatory, closed toe shoes recommended. Board Games, Movies and DVD Players Available to sign out at Guest Reception or Concierge. Subject to availability. Custom or Private Tours & Art Programs Arrange for your very own art program by calling Advanced registration required and is based on availability. Disc Golf A fun twist on traditional golf, disc golf is now set up on The Rosseau field. Visit Guest Reception for discs and playing tips. Family Bubble Soccer Rental Get ready to go bubble to bubble, family style! Located on the second floor of Paignton House. Scavenger Hunt & Colouring Pages Complete an indoor or outdoor scavenger hunt or colouring page on your own time. Pick up your check list and colouring pages from Guest Reception or Concierge. Scavenger hunts are best suited for ages 7 and up. The Library Visit the Library to play some chess or read your favourite Muskokan stories while curled up by the fire. The Activity Centre Up for a game of pool? How about a game of foosball or ping pong? Grab your friends & family and head to the Activity Centre! It s the perfect space to break into a game or brush up on your billiard skills.
