25 Harry Potter Studio Tour Cost: Meet Location: Milton Turning Circle Description: Harry Potter studio tour. Approx. 4 hours in studio. Information about activity: pretty self explanatory open to all Year 8 & 9 students (priority to HP club members). Lunch info: bring own packed lunch + snacks and some spending money for gift shop. 26 Greenbank Pool and Clarks Village Description: Spend a day soaking in the sunshine and enjoying the unique outdoor swimming experience whilst having fun with friends before strolling around Clarks Outlet Village to find a bargain or two. Lunch info: Bring a packed lunch or use one of the food outlets in Clarks Village. Clothing/weather: Bring swimming costume and towel. Sun cream is a must. Appropriate dress for after swimming shopping. Transport: Coach. Cost: Times: Normal School Day

28 Woodlands Adventure Theme Park, Devon Description: Full day at Woodlands Theme Park, Devon. Information about activity A group visit to Woodlands Theme Park (toboggans, water slides, huge indoor play centre etc.). Lunch info Bring your own. Cafés on site will also provide lunch and snacks throughout the day. Clothing/weather the theme park is largely outdoor but has indoor areas in case of bad weather. Sensible flat footwear and clothes that you are happy to get wet! Transport Coach. 29 Beachwatch Conservation Day Description: Complete a beach clean and survey at Brean Down Cove. Information about activity: This is in conjunction with the Marine Conservation Society. We will also hike around Brean Down (about 5km) and visit the fort there. Lunch: You will need to bring a packed lunch and drinks/snacks for the day. Clothing: Sturdy footwear is essential. You will require suitable clothing for the weather (raincoat/sunhat/suncream). Transport: Coach. 30 Axbridge Reservoir Cost: Meet Location: Milton Turning Circle Meet Time: 8.45am Description: If you love water sports this is for you. Spend a day on the water, sailing, powerboating, paddle boarding and more. Information about activity: Take clothes and shoes you don t mind getting wet. Buoyancy aids and wetsuits provided. 31 Bristol Zoo Information about activity: Spend a day exploring the fantastic Bristol Zoo. Lunch info: Bring a packed lunch or there are cafes available to buy lunch at the Zoo. Clothing/weather: Check before but sun cream and a coat are essential. Footwear must also be suitable for a day of exploring. Transport: Coach. 32 Kayaking and Assault Course Description: Enjoy a morning on the water before you and your team take on the assault course in the afternoon. Information about activity: Take clothes and shoes you don t mind getting wet. Buoyancy aids provided Lunch info: Packed lunch required. Clothing/weather: Dress appropriately with wet and dry clothes and shoes. Make sure you pack the sun cream and a towel. Transport: Coach. 33 Skiing Description: Spend a day on the dry ski slope at Mendip Activity Centre. Information about activity: For beginners or confident skiers. You will receive 2 x 1.5 hour lessons with a qualified instructor who will have you flying down the slope in no time. Lunch info: Packed lunch required. Snacks and drinks available at the centre. Clothing/weather: It is advised that you wear old clothes that you don t mind getting wet as well as strong and resilient gloves. Transport: Coach. 34 Archery and Bushcraft Description: Spend the morning having a go at archery before turning your hand to bushcraft in true Bear Grylls style. Information about activity: Your day will be split into 2 x 2.5 hour sessions and will be a real action adventure day full of survival techniques. Lunch info: Packed lunch required. Snacks and drinks available at the centre. Clothing/weather: It is advised that you wear old clothes that you don t mind getting wet and muddy. 35 Mission Impossible Challenge Description: Nothing is impossible if you work together, communicate, plan, adapt, think and overcome. Ten missions await! Information about activity: Your day will be spent in the outdoors working as a team to complete 10 missions which are seemingly impossible. Work as a team to solve them! Lunch info: Packed lunch required. Snacks and drinks available at the centre. Clothing/weather: It is advised that you wear old clothes that you don t mind getting wet and muddy. 36 Surf s Up Description: Take a trip to Bigbury-on-Sea and spend a day on the beach and in the water learning to surf and paddleboard Information about activity: You will receive a 2 hour surf lesson followed by some games on the beach. Students are required to be able to swim 50m to take part. Lunch info: Packed lunch required and snacks are available at the surf centre. Clothing/weather: Pack a swimming costume and towel as well as clothes you don t mind getting sandy and wet. Wetsuits and boards provided. Transport: Coach. 37 Explore our beautiful countryside Description: Make the most of our beautiful surroundings, enjoy some fresh air and exercise. Information about activity: We will be walking to Wookey Hole or Tor Woods, with some games, a treasure hunt and photography competition along the way. Lunch info: bring a packed lunch and water. Clothing/weather: a waterproof, comfortable shoes, suncream and lots of enthusiasm! If it rains we will do a shorter walk, followed by games in the Sports Hall. Meet Location: Bailey Hall Times: Normal School Day
38 Delta Force - Paintballing Description: Enjoy a adrenaline filled day paintballing at the awesome Delta Force paintball centre. Information about activity: This activity gives those thrill seekers a chance to battle the enemy in a variety of action packed scenarios and games. Lunch info: Bring your own packed lunch. Clothing/weather: Wear old clothes you don t mind getting paint on, wet or muddy. Transport: Coach. Cost: Meet Location: Milton Turning Circle Meet Time: 8.00am Finish Location: Milton Turning Circle Finish Time: 5.35pm
39 Day at the stables Description: Spend a whole day at a local riding centre where we will be having a lesson, hacking, mucking out, cleaning tack, grooming and learning all about caring for and riding horses (and generally having a brilliant time!) This activity is suitable for everyone it doesn t matter if you are a confident rider or have never been on a horse in your life. The day will be tailored to suit all abilities. Lunch: Bring a packed lunch. Clothing/Weather: Trousers, boots with a small heel, waterproofs (just in case). If you have a riding hat or body protector feel free to bring all provided if not. Be prepared to get mucky, particularly if it is wet! Transport: Minibus. Cost: Meet Location: Minibuses Meet Time: 8.45am Finish Location: Minibuses Finish Time: 3.15pm
