3 A MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR Live Life is the theme for Seniors Week 2013 and the program has many events & activities in which seniors of our community will be able to live life within our Municipality. The Seniors Week Committee has worked extremely hard together to bring our seniors a full and varied program of events for people 55 years and over. Events range from the Fancy Hat High Tea party at Kiama Library, Trike rides for residents of Blue Haven Aged Care Facility, Rock N Roll party at North Kiama Neighbourhood Centre, BBQ Lunch and entertainment at Kiama Community Centre being a few of the great events planned for Seniors Week I encourage you to participate in as many events as you can and by doing so you will be contributing to our community in a most positive way. I hope you all have a wonderful Seniors Week and I look forward to enjoying your company at the celebrations. Brian Petschler Mayor
