1 Leisure Activities Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel is the natural family friendly escape for those who want the very best in beachside accommodation alongside an almost endless array of sports and activities. Bike Rentals A selection of TREK bikes are available; from mountain bikes, to children bikes and these can be rented from 4 hours to a day - even for the entire duration of your stay. We also have bikes with baby seats for family tours. Tennis Two artificial grass courts are located at Club 98. We also have rackets and tennis balls for rent and to purchase. Our professional coach, Vasco Portas and his team, are on hand should you wish to have private lessons. For children, Vasco also hosts small tennis clinics upon request. Padel Tennis The latest hit a mix between Squash and Tennis, and already played by millions in Spain and South America. The sport is only played in doubles format and we have two courts at Club 98. Rackets and balls are available for rent or for purchase. Try it! It is fun for adults and children alike.

2 Football During the summer months we offer a football clinic, run by professional footballer Mark McCarrick. A 3 day program for all ages will be held on our multi-purpose court and occasionally at one of our neighbouring football grounds. For further information please contact the Leisure team. We also organise occasional football games for guests where all the family are more than welcome! Gym A state of the art gym is located in the Village Square, which features several treadmills, stationary bikes, free weights and ample space for floor exercise. Why not work out at the gym while your children are having fun at our Raposinhos Kid s club and crèche. Kayak Hire one of our double Kayaks where adults can take children for an unbeatable way to explore the local coastline. Please note that lifejackets are compulsory. Available from the Water Sports Centre. Paddle Surf A relatively new activity which combines Surfing with Kayaking. Great fun! Boards and equipment are available from the Water Sports Centre.

3 Wind Surf Martinhal Beach is famous for providing perfect windsurfing conditions and has hosted several international competitions. All the equipment from beginners to advanced is available at the Water Sports Centre, and our instructors would be very happy to introduce you to the sport. Diving Twice a week in the summer, we offer a bubble maker course in the pool of Club 98 for those that have never experienced the underwater world. We can also help you obtain the full Open Water certification (PADI), and for qualified divers, we can help you explore some of the best dive spots in continental Europe. Please note that this course is available to children from 10 years old. Hundreds of kilometres of breathtaking beaches and high sea cliffs make the region a perfect rock climbing destination. Golf* We provide an excellent Golf experience at Martinhal Resort. You can try 3 of the Western Algarve s premier courses with exceptional playing conditions. Private lessons are available on request. Don t miss the opportunity of experiencing some of the best courses in Portugal. Horse Riding* Enjoy horseback riding at the end of the world in small private groups under friendly and professional supervision. Private or group lessons are available on request. 5 Boat Trips* Martinhal Resort & Hotel offer a variety of daily cruise programmes to make your holiday truly unforgettable. Bring all the family to sail with us along the coast of Sagres and discover nature at her very best. Dolphin Watching* Imagine yourself underwater watching the gracious passage of these most majestic of marine mammals. During this activity you will have the chance to snorkel near the water surface and be a passive observer. Deep Sea Fishing* Available for shark fishing (catch and release), wreck fishing and bottom fishing. Rods and bait are provided by us. For experts, you are welcome to bring your own fishing equipment. Drinks and a lunch pack are available. We welcome individuals and beginners. Family Fishing* A unique opportunity to fish in a typical Portuguese manner using hand lines. With a relaxed atmosphere on board and a friendly crew, our fishing is suitable for beginners, groups of fishermen and families (children are most welcome).
