2 EXCITING ENDLESS POOLS FITNESS SYSTEMS UPDATES We are excited to tell you about several new products that will help you attract more consumers to the benefits of owning Endless Pools Fitness Systems. These products include the expansion of our offering with a new partial cabinet option (for recessed or deck installations), as well as updates to the underwater treadmill and Fitness Systems technologies. OFFER YOUR FITNESS SYSTEMS CUSTOMERS A CUSTOM, BUILT- IN LOOK New Cabinet Option Allows Partial-Recessed Installation PARTIAL CABINET FEATURES This option addresses a common request from customers: Can my Fitness System be installed partially-recessed? While the answer has always been yes, this new design option offers a way to create a custom appearance that will enhance any backyard setting. The new factory-installed partial cabinet option is ideal for customers who want to install their Fitness Systems into patios, decks or other hardscape either for aesthetic or ease of entry reasons. It is available today for all Fitness Systems (E2000, E700, E500, X500, X200), in all color combinations. 2

3 SEAMLESS, CUSTOM LOOK Above the ground, three sleek, contemporary cabinet panel boards are visible (including the perimeter light bar), to maintain the signature Endless Pools Fitness Systems style. For E-series models, 61 cm (24 ) of cabinet is visible, while X-Series models display 56 cm (22 ) of cabinet. Below ground, the recessed substrate is made of durable High Density Polyethylene, or HDPE. It s specifically designed to be water-resistant, and withstand environmental elements. All seams are sealed. The HDPE panels are recessed 1.25 cm (½ ) from the top of the exterior cabinet panels. This creates a lip where the cabinet aligns seamlessly with any hardscape. Installation Requirements To install a recessed Fitness System, follow these steps for proper footing and drainage: Prepare the footing using a concrete slab that is at least cm (6 ) thick and level Add dedicated drainage that is separate from other yard drainage; French drain or similar method is recommended Install a sump pump as backup drainage in case of rising water tables or flooding Allow a minimum 61 cm (24 ) of access to the equipment compartment for maintenance and operation Follow all local codes and laws during design and installation of the recessed Fitness System A complete installation guide for the Endless Pools Fitness Systems Partial Cabinet will be available soon on the Extranet as a downloadable PDF. It contains valuable guidance on location selection, planning and installation. 3

4 ENDLESS POOLS FITNESS SYSTEMS UNDERWATER TREADMILL UPDATES Robust Performance That Goes The Distance Belt Drive The current treadmill uses a heavy-duty double chain mechanism to drive the treadmill. Consistent with our continuous improvement efforts, we have upgraded the drive mechanism to a single, industrial-grade belt drive in all Endless Pools Fitness Systems. The new belt-drive treadmill is now a standard feature. This change results in less treadmill maintenance and better performance over time. Trim Piece The existing molded trim pieces on either side of the treadmill belt have also been updated. While the difference is subtle, this change offers a cleaner, more finished look on the ends of the trim piece near the floor. 4

5 FITNESS SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) Updates The HPU is the source of all functionality for the swim machine and treadmill. Starting with all 2017 serial numbers, we updated the control board for the HPU. While visually similar to the previous EP1 control board, the new EP3 board includes smart technology for future applications. One of the many new additions we are excited to take advantage of is its Wi-Fi connectivity. More to come on this later in this announcement! In addition, customers now have the flexibility to power the swim machine, treadmill and hydrotherapy concurrently. To accomplish this, we are pleased to introduce the new Tandem Hydraulic Power Unit. This new HPU is now standard on all swim machine/treadmill version Fitness Systems manufactured on or after April 3, 2017*. With this update, the new tandem HPU uses its Circuit-Saver functionality allowing all components to run concurrently (see chart below). When the swim machine and treadmill are used together, the top speed of the treadmill remains 9 Km/h and the top speed of the swim machine is now a 1:40/100 (minutes/meters) pace. The swim machine top speed remains 1:08/100 (minutes/meters) when running by itself. All Fitness Systems ordered with a swim machine only will continue to receive the standard HPU. SYSTEM TYPE TANDEM HPU POWER CIRCUIT-SAVER FUNCTIONALITY E2000 Single Phase V, 24A + 32A Whenever the swim machine and/or treadmill is on, 3 Phase V, 3N~, 24A the heater in the swim area is shut off Spa area is not affected when the swim machine and/or treadmill is operational E500/E700 Single Phase V, 24A + 32A All systems operate concurrently (swim machine, treadmill, heater, and hydrotherapy) E500/E700 3 Phase V, 3N~, 16A Whenever the swim machine and/or treadmill is on, the heater in the swim area is shut off *All Single Phase Fitness Systems feature the new tandem HPU. Three Phase Fitness Systems are converting to the new HPU over a longer period of time (Serial Number tracking is in place. Separate HPUs can be identified by serial numbers ending with Tandem HPUs can be identified by serial numbers ending with 1001+). 5

6 TM Endless Pools APP & Wi-Fi Kit The new Endless Pools App puts full workout functionality at the fingertips of Fitness Systems owners. Users can adjust the speed controls, monitor their workout pace, duration and time, and set up workout programs specific to their goals. The free App download is available in English in the App Store for ios or Android smartphones or tablets. The Dutch, French, German and Spanish language versions are currently in development and will be available via an app update over the next few months. To use the App with an Endless Pools Fitness System, a Wi- Fi Kit (compatible with 2017 serial number Fitness Systems only) is required, and will be sold separately. We recommend that the Wi-Fi kit be dealer installed. 6

7 EP3 Controller Retrofit Kit for 2016 Models Customers with 2016 serial numbered Fitness Systems can update their models and enjoy the benefits of the new Endless Pools App. All 2016 Fitness Systems are equipped with the EP1 controller, which is not compatible with the new App. For these customers, we have developed an EP3 Retrofit Kit. It can be purchased and dealer-installed along with the Wi-Fi Kit Treadmill Kit - EP3 Retrofit EP Swim Kit - EP3 Retrofit EP1 Pricing for Fitness Systems with the new Partial Cabinet, Wi-Fi Kit and EP3 Controller Retrofit Kit, as well as all pricing updates, can be found on the Extranet.
