Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer's legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. The competition course has been certified in accordance with C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming. 25 Yard Course, prelim/finals top 8 for and 13-14, top 16 for Senior on Saturday, timed finals for all 10 & Under events and all Friday/Sunday sessions. Meet management may opt to use fly-over starts at this competition. Dates and Times: Friday, November 21 Saturday, November 22 Sunday, November 23 - all ages timed finals session starts at 5:00pm - 11 & Over prelims session starts at 8:30am - 10 & Under timed finals session starts not before 12:00pm or more than 45 minutes after the conclusion of the morning session - 11 & Over finals session starts at 5:30pm - 11 & Over timed finals session starts at 8:30am - 10 & Under timed finals session starts not before 12:00pm or more than 45 minutes after the conclusion of the morning session Location: YMCA Aquatic Center 8422 International Drive Orlando, FL (407) Pool Specifications: Competition course is two 8 lane indoor 25 yard pools. Water depth at the competition starting end is a minimum of 7 feet and the turn end is a minimum of 7 feet. Non- turbulent lane lines and regulation starting blocks will be used. An additional 25 yard indoor diving well will be available for warm-up/warm-down. Timing Equipment: Colorado Time Systems - automatic with touch pads and backup buttons. A full color alpha-numeric dual 8 lane LED scoreboard will also be used.

2 Warm-up: Friday, November 21 Saturday, November 22 Sunday, November 23-4:00pm (all ages) - 7:30am (11 & Over prelims session) - not before 12:00pm (10 & Under timed finals session) - 4:30pm (11 & Over finals session) - 7:30am (11 & Over timed finals session) - not before 12:00pm (10 & Under timed finals session) Eligibility: Entry Limit: Seeding: This meet is open to all currently registered USA Swimming swimmers. Deck entries will be allowed provided that there is room in existing heats. No extra heats will be created. On deck registration will be allowed. The 2015 USA-S form & fee must be presented to the Referee. Entries will close upon receipt of the team that puts entries over the four hour time limit per session. Prelim/finals swimmers are limited to three (3) individual events per day. Timed final swimmers are limited to 4 events per day or a maximum of 8 events for the meet plus relays. 25 yard short course times will be used for seeding. Conversions may be made using the formula in the current Florida Swimming Handbook. Scratch Penalty: PRELIMS- No penalty for scratching on the block in the Preliminary or Timed Final events with the exception of the deck-seeded events. Any swimmer entered in an individual event that is "deck seeded" who has checked in for the event, must swim the event unless he/she notifies the clerk of course before the seeding for that event has begun, that he/she wishes to scratch. Failure to do so and not swim will result in the swimmer being barred (scratched) from the next individual event (preliminary or timed final) in which the swimmer is entered. Declared false starts will be accepted from the swimmer prior to the start of the heat. FINALS- Any swimmer who competes in a preliminary heat and qualifies for either championship or consolation finals and fails to swim in the final without notifying the Meet Referee that he/she may withdraw from the finals within thirty (30) minutes after the announcement of the qualifiers for that event and further fails to declare his/her final intention within thirty (30) minutes of his/her last individual preliminary event, will be penalized by being automatically scratched from their next individual final or individual event, whichever occurs first. The Referee may insert the next eligible swimmer into Finals or Consolation Finals once a "failure to swim" is declared and in any vacant lanes resulting from the penalty. Declared False Starts in Finals will be considered a "failure to swim" and will draw the same penalty. In the event of illness or injury, certified to the satisfaction of the Meet Referee, there will be no penalty. Entries: Entries must be in USA Swimming SDIF format or Hy-Tek CL2 format. TU Touchpad entries also accepted. A signed hard copy printout is acceptable as proof of entry in place of the enclosed entry forms. Free text entries will not be accepted. Disk or ed entries must be accompanied by a backup hard copy of the entry. List all attending coaches, contact phone numbers, and RELAY ONLY swimmers in the body of the . Corrupted, unreadable, or incorrectly formatted files must be corrected within 24 hours. Errors in entries submitted electronically are the

3 responsibility of the applicant. Electronic mail confirmation will be sent upon receipt of file. If using the enclosed Entry Form, the form will serve as proof of entry. The legal name and current USA Swimming Registration Number for each swimmer must be listed on the Entry Form, including "relay-only" swimmers. The Master Entry Form must accompany the proof of entries and a current USA Swimming Member must sign the form. Only that person and the coach will be recognized. Coaches and officials shall wear USA Swimming registration cards in a conspicuous location at all times while on deck during the meet. Current USA Swimming rules will govern the meet. Fly-over starts may be used.

4 Information: Camera Zones: For more information, please contact Mike Brady at (407) or Per Florida Swimming Rule , Meet Management shall designate and inform the public of Camera Zones at each swim meet where both still photography and video photography of a race or a race competitor in a race may be taken. Acceptable Camera Zones may include, but are not limited to the side courses of a pool, team gathering areas, concession areas, turnend of competition course when not in use as a start-end, etc. Meet Management shall also designate Non-Camera Zones. Under NO circumstances will Camera Zones include the area immediately behind the starting blocks at either end of the racing course(s) while they are in use for race starting purposes during competition and warm-ups, locker rooms, restrooms, or any other dressing area. Any individual failing to abide by this rule could be subject to the Florida Swimming Code of Conduct violation as defined in Rule Warm Up Schedule: * NO EQUIPMENT PERMITTED * * SWIMMERS MUST ENTER THE WATER FEET FIRST AND BE SUPERVISED BY A COACH * The referee/marshal may alter warm-up procedures to meet the needs of the swimmers. The warm-period will be at least 1 hour. The first 40 minutes are general warm-up and the last 20 minutes will be a controlled as specified below.
