Daktronics and Colorado Starting System, electronic timing. Arizona Swimming warm up/warm down procedures will be posted and enforced. Eligibility: 1. Open to any USA Swimming, AAU, NASA, YMCA or non affiliated swimmers. There will be no on deck entry. 2. All swimwear must be FINA approved. 3. This is a time standard meet. Swimmers must have equaled or bettered the qualifying time in order to swim that event. All entries must be made via OME AZ Rules: Rules Governing The Meet 1. Age on the first day the meet will govern for the entire meet. 2. Conduct of the event shall conform in every respect to all technical and administrative rules of USA Swimming. 3. Swimming competitions shall be conducted in conformance with USA Swimming Technical Rules. 4. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. 5. The competition course has been certified in accordance with C(4) as to pool length. A copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming. 6. The minimum water depth, measured in accordance with Article , is a continuous Deck changes are prohibited. 8. 2 9. All governing bodies will be recognized. 10. The use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, restrooms, locker rooms, or behind the blocks. 11. All referees, starters, administrative officials, chief judges and stroke and turn judges serving in an official capacity in the event must be non athlete members of USA Swimming or members of other FINA member organizations. All meet directors for meets sanctioned by USA Swimming must be members of USA Swimming. Except for coaches accompanying athletes participating under the provisions of or USA Swimming s open border policy, all persons acting in any coaching capacity in a sanctioned event must be a coach member of USA Swimming. 12. Officials and Meet Marshals must sign in and present proof of current membership and/or training respectively, to the Meet Referee prior to the start of each session of competition. If requested, Arizona Officials and Meet Marshals must present their AzSI issued Picture ID s to the Meet Referee 13. Coaches must sign in and present proof of current membership at the Clerk of Course prior to the start of each session of competition. If requested, Arizona Coaches must present their AzSI issued Picture ID s to the Clerk of Course. Deck Pass will be accepted as proof of current membership with an accompanying photo ID. 14. All Officials, Coaches, and Meet Marshals shall display their valid Arizona Swimming Picture ID badge in a visible manner at all times. Meet Marshal s shall wear their identifying vests. Out of LSC coaches will be given credentials to wear during the event 15. Swimmers with a disability are welcome. The Swimmer (or swimmers coach) is responsible for notifying the Referee, prior to the competition, of any disability of the swimmer and of the requested modification. The swimmer/coach shall provide any assistant(s) or equipment (tappers, deck mats, etc.) if required. 16. Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present. Event Rules: 1. This is a preliminary/final meet short course yards. Two 8 lane courses will be used for competition. 2. Swimmers must enter with valid qualifying times. Entry times not achieved in short course yards shall be noted by the appropriate course. No converted times may be used. An entry of NT will not be accepted. The order of seeding for preliminaries will be YLS. 3. Swimmers 9&, 11, and 13 must meet the national motivation BB standard, swimmers 10, 12, and 14 must meet the national motivational A standard for each event in order to be eligible to swim with exception to distance events (A and A A respectively, and they will be capped at 32 entrants). 4. The meet will be capped at 800 swimmers. 5. Swimmers are limited to 3 individual events per day, 9 for the meet. Over entered swimmers in a session will have events dropped at the point of over entry. 6. Bonus entries may be utilized according to the following rules; 1 qualifying swim = 3 bonus entries, 2 or more qualifying swims = 2 bonus entries not to exceed 6 total swims for the meet (so 4 Q = 2 B, 5Q = 1 B). 7. Time trials will be offered at the discretion of the meet referee and are subject to entry limits. 8. Events 400 and longer and all relays are positive check in. All swimmers must be listed on the entry sheet in order to compete. Relays are limited to 2 per team. See positive check in times below. 9. Arizona Age Group scratch rules will be enforced. Any swimmer not reporting to a final event in which the results were posted will also receive a $25 fee assessed to the team unless relieved for good cause by the meet referee. 10. All relays will be timed final swum in the preliminary session prior to positive check in events

3 Seeding: All preliminary events, including relays, will be swum combined slowest to fastest; 10 &, 11 12, (pending 2 tank format). Top 8 in each age group as follows will swim in finals excluding events 400 and longer. The 400 IM and 500 Free will be timed finals with the top 8 of the combined age group in finals (still scored separately). The 1650/1000 freestyles are timed finals with all heats in the preliminary session in their combined age groups but scored separately, only the top 32 entries will compete. All relays are timed finals in the preliminary session.
