Headcoachesmayrequirestudentstosubmitacertainnumberofwhitetokensin ordertoparticipateinthatsport.alistoftheserequirementsisattached.ifathleteshave extrawhitetokens,theycangivethemtothecoachoftheirownsport,oranyothersport, asanextrablessingforthatcoach. Familiescanchoosetopaythesportfeesoutofpocketinsteadofturninginwhitetokens,if theywish.coacheswillnotacceptchecksorcashfromfamilies.iffamilieswanttopay thingsout:of:pocketinsteadofearningwhitetokens,theycanbuywhitetokensfrom AthleticDepartmentsecretaryRitaSmith.Whitetokenswillbe100each.Theonlything whitetokenscannotbeusedforisanyexclusivelyparent:runactivity,suchassometeam meals.whitetokenswillbedistributedtoparentsbythecoordinatoroftheprintedsports program(orbyritasmithiftheyarepurchasedforcashorcheck). Silver+ Service +tokens::forvolunteerservicerenderedtotheathleticdepartment, athletes(ortheirfamilymembers)willreceivesilver service tokens.theamount requiredbytheendoftheyearwillvarybysport,becauseittakesadifferentamountof volunteeractivitytorunsomesportsthanothers.serviceopportunitieswillincludefund: raisers,workinggatesandconcessions,fieldmaintenance,etc.listsofservice opportunitiesandtokenrequirementsareattached.familiescanearntheirsilverservice tokensateventsinanysport.theydonothavetobeearnedinthesporttheirchildplays. SilverservicetokenswillbedistributedtoworkersbytheCrusaderClub. Bytheendoftheschoolyear,everyathletewillberequiredtoturnin: : oneblue department tokenperathlete(notperfamily),and : enoughsilver service tokenstomeettherequirement(s)of thesport(s)thestudentplays(seeattachedlist). Alsoattachedisaformtohelpfamiliesturntheirblueandsilvertokensintothe departmentsecretary.fortheathletewhoisunabletoturninthecorrectnumberofblue andsilvertokensbytheendoftheyear,anassessmentof500willbeappliedtothe family sschoolaccount(proratediftheyturninsometokensorsellsomeadvertising).this assessmentwillbeconsideredinthesamemannerasanyotherschoolfee,tuition,etc.the 500assessmentdoesnotcoveranyindividualsportrequirementforwhitetokens;itonly coverstheblueandsilvertokens.noneofthetokenscanbecarriedforwardtofuture years. Coachesareresponsibleformanagingthewhitetokens.Familiesshouldturnintheirwhite tokensdirectlytoheadcoaches.ifstudentsearnmorewhitetokensthanarerequiredby theirsport(s),theymayturnthemintotheheadcoachofanysporttheychoose,tofurther blessthatsport. Whitetokenswillnotnecessarilyreplaceallathleticfundraisers.Thecoachesofthe varioussportswillletyouknowiftherewillbeotherfundraisingactivitiesforyour sport(s).
