3 Season: Winter 2017 Program: TDC Week: 1 Dribbling to beat an opponent Pattern Dribble (10 Touches:) Each player with a soccer. All patterns will be completed with both feet. 1. 5 Season: Winter 2017 Program: TDC Week: 2 Lateral Touches Diamond Dribbling (10 Touches:) Place 4 cones in a diamond shape about 2 yards apart from each other. Each player with a soccer. Players will try to push the to the next cone with the outside of their foot and stop it with the inside (1 touch to push and 1 touch to stop). Now switch directions. 2nd pattern: little touch from right foot to left, little touch from left foot to right, big roll with right foot across the body and to the next cone. Repeat starting with the left foot. 7 Season: Winter 2017 Program: TDC Week: 3 1v1's and 2v1's Pattern Dribble (14 Touches:) Each player with a soccer. All patterns will be completed with both feet. 1. Touch the with the outside of the foot then the inside of the foot (favorite foot first.) 2. Inside left to inside right then roll the from the left to the right (with the bottom of the foot or toe roll.) Play a 3v3 or 4v4 game with three goals on each end line. If a players performs a Circle Take or a Fake and take a beats his/her opponent and scores gets 100 bonus Technique of Dribbling, Passing, Receiving & Shooting Principles of play GAME 2 Amount of Passes = Amount of Points: In a 20Wx25L yard grid. Play a 3v3 or 4v4 game with one goal on each end line. The players will try to connect as many passes as they can before they can pass the soccer through the goal. ie: If a team completes 3 passes and scores their goal, it will be worth 4 points. 10 Season: Winter 2017 Program: Goalkeeping Week: 4 Goalkeeping Footwork, Ball Handling and Angle Play 4 Cones: GK is standing in between 2 cones. Place 4 markers in a half circle about 3 yards away from the central cones. Markers are numbers 1-4 GK must run to touch a marker, shuffle back to get set in front of the two cones and catch the serve Server then shouts out a new number Rotate after 8 serves On the ground, Bouncing, mid-height Keep the eyes on the Get into line with the Keep the hands behind the Head still with eyes on the Handling technique (Diamond, Basket & Scoop) 5 Cones: Place the GK with the cones set up as the graphic show. 11 Season: Winter 2017 Program: TDC Week: 5 When to Dribble and When to Pass Diamond Dribbling (10 Touches:) Place 4 cones in a diamond shape about 2 yards apart from each other. Each player with a soccer. 1st pattern: push the to the next cone with the outside of their foot and stop it with the inside (1 touch to push and 1 touch to stop). Now switch directions. 2nd pattern: little touch from right foot to left, little touch from left foot to right, big roll with right foot across the body and to the next cone. Repeat starting with the left foot. Start by drawing a circle around the with your left big toe then push the with the outside of the right foot to the next cone. Repeat starting with a circle with the right big toe. Dribble, Pass & Receive: 10 yards from outside to central cone, Groups of 3. Each player attacks the mannequin (substitute coach or cone) in the middle, connects a pass to the far side, and follows the pass to the far side Upon receiving a pass, the player again takes on the mannequin in the middle Dribble straight at the mannequin. 13 Season: Winter 2017 Program: TDC Week: 6 Turning Back To Go Forward Pattern Dribble (20 Touches:) Each player with a soccer. All patterns will be completed with both feet. 1. Touch the with the outside of the foot then the inside of the foot (favorite foot first.) 2. Push the twice with the laces then draw a circle around the with the big toe. 3. Inside left to inside right then roll the from the left to the right (with the bottom of the foot or toe roll.) 4. Inside right to inside left then roll the from the right to the left (with the bottom of the foot or toe roll.) 5. 15 Season: Winter 2017 Program: TDC Week: 7 Passing and Receiving Pattern Dribble Relay (17 Touches:) - Start by introducing Drag- Touch- Take Drag the with the bottom of the right foot, touch it behind the left foot with the inside of the right and then (forward with the left foot) stop it with the left. Now repeat with left foot. Players start on opposite ends and to the left of the goal. All patterns will be completed with both feet on the way to each cone except for drag-touch-take; only 1 to change direction. Once the player has turned at the last cone, he/she will shoot on the mini goal.
