2 2016 Season Letter from the President We are pleased to announce a robust tournament schedule for 2016, commencing in April and ending in October. Building on the success from last summer, we are getting close to confirming 8 teams in the 12 and high goal seasons. The objective is to have well attended, competitive but safe matches. Last year, we had many close matches and championships won by a variety of teams in each tournament. Phil Heatley retired as polo manager at the end of 2015 and we were fortunate to be able to bring back Melanja Jones as our new polo manager. With Melanja, we have someone with a wealth of experience in managing both high and medium goal tournaments as well as a familiarity with the club. She will be a year round manager and will be able to grow our coaching league and club chukkers during the fall and activate the arena year around. We are targeting more participants with a renewed interest in developing early stage players going forward. Our overarching objective is to continue to grow and improve the customer experience for both players and fans alike at SBPRC. I look forward to seeing you during the 2016 Polo Season. 6 JULY AND AUGUST The High Goal Season kicks off in Santa Barbara during sunny July. Teams will compete for some of the most prestigous high goal tournaments in America. HIGH GOAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE JULY AUGUST JULY BELMOND EL ENCANTO POLO CLASSIC USPA MASERATI SILVER CUP USPA NESPRESSO AMERICA CUP GULFSTREAM PACIFIC COAST OPEN FEES Tournament Fee: $86,000 To reserve a team slot: $10,000 deposit, refundable post season* Includes one Wednesday practice and two tournament games weekly. Games and practices will be played at club fields and local offsite fields. *deposit is fully refundable post season to accounts in good standing 2016 Season

7 JULY AND AUGUST #PoloinParadise SUMMER LOW GOAL PAIRS LEAGUE Players sign up in 3-5 goal pro-patron pairs. Pairs will be assigned to teams by management in conjunction with 16 goal schedule so everyone will get a chance to play with different people and keep the competition fresh and interesting. The Pairs League includes Tuesday practice and Thursday/Saturday 6 chukker match game. Many games will be played at outside fields so players can experience the beauty of all the fields in Santa Barbara County, run by the club with USPA umpires to ensure fairness. The tournament final and consolation final will be held on Field 1 at the polo club with a trophy presentation. Asados will be held on Saturday to give players the opportunity to get to know each other off the field. FEES* Non-member pair: $10,000 per pair per month, or $18,000 per pair for the summer season. Its located just steps from the polo condos and barns. The tennis program also runs youth tennis camps throughout the summer.

10 LEARN TO PLAY 2016 Season Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club welcomes beginners and players of all levels to join in the fun at our Club! The Santa Barbara Polo School offers lessons in the arena and on the grass. The popular Coaching League gives players the opportunity to practice their new skills in a controlled game environment with the guidance of a professional polo player or coach. Weeknight arena chukkers are also available. The Club has many options available for beginner and amateur players looking to hone their skills.
