3 Offensive Huddle he huddle is a very important aspect of the game. reat it as such. We are all business. When the center yells huddle get there and be quiet. he Q is the only player who talks while in huddle. he center will call the Huddle 10 yards from the L.O.S. Q 1) Give Down and Distance 2) Repeat the play twice (once to each side of the huddle) o break the huddle the Q will say Ready, and every player in the huddle yells out the word RAK! Starting ount In the huddle our Quarterback will always call for the ball to be snapped on either Set on 1, on 2, or on 3. he cadence is called the following way Set Dummy all Hit Hit Hit We go on the snap count that was called in the huddle. Audible System Our Audible System is a very simple one. he snap count number will determine if the Q is changing the play at L.O.S. his means the snap count number called in the huddle is the Live umber. (Set is not included we have to go with the play called in the huddle if we want to snap the ball on Set). he Live umber means we are changing the play called in the huddle to the play the quarterback is calling at the L.O.S. 2
4 xample: Play in the Huddle wins R 46 ISO on 1 L.O.S. Quarterback knows the play called will not work. He can check out of it in the following manner. Set 1 33 (Q will repeat the snap count that was given in the huddle) 1 is the Live umber. he play is being changed to 33 from he snap count now is on (2) Rule: All plays checked off at the L.O.S. will be on 2 ven when the play in the huddle is called on 2. **ote: When the snap count that was called in the huddle is repeated by the Q at the L.O.S., we are changing the play. he ball will then be snapped on 2.
