The only way to turn it back to handball is by kicking it up to yourself or your teammate, you may not pick the ball up with your hands unless you are the goalie in the goalie box. o While the game is in the handball stage, the player with the ball may move but the defense is allowed to tag that person. If they are tagged the defense gets the ball for a free pass. o If the ball goes out of bounds, the other team will receive a free pass to pass it into play. o On a free pass the defense cannot guard a player or steal the ball. o Teams receive 2 points if they throw the ball into the net, and 1 if they kick it in. o Teams will participate in a jump ball after each goal In teams of 4-6, students will play a game of speedball. Formative assessment(s): Teacher observation of following the rules and execution of basic game skills Teacher observation on how well students move to an open space Game scenario on invasion games.
