Saturday 25 th June Women In League round.all players will be given a pair of pink socks to wear for their game and in return we ask for a gold coin donation (or more if you like). All proceeds will go to Australian Breast Cancer Assoc. We have all teams playing at home that weekend and will be dressing the ground up in PINK Also on Saturday 25 th June the Sharks are hosting their annual Women In League cocktail party. Cost is $10 per person (women only of course)! There will be finger food and unlimited cocktails between 6pm and 9pm. It will be held at The Sharks.please let me know if you would like to attend great night was had by all that attended last year. So unlucky not get this win. Matty Brumnic out try scoring machine scored 5 tries!! Well done Michael Lazos who tried really hard backing up his mates. Brooklyn had a great run but was pulled down by a great tackle. Jhett got another T against his name. Harrison worked hard backed up by Dillon, Prasant, Wade and Jonny. Well done guys we are really proud of you all. You keep getting better every week AWE- SOME!! Round 8 11 th June 2011 Titans U6 REDS v Gymea Loss A bad luck gent, the score does not reflect how close the game was. There was some really good work from everybody. Jhett and Matt got two tries a piece but the most fantastic part of this game was how quickly our guys wanted to get up and play the ball and helping each other when tackling. We can things starting to work and we are all really proud of you all. Well done to Matt and Jhett, deserved Men of the Match this week.

Tackling was great. Lachlan could run a tackle clinic he was that good. Plenty of good passing and of loads which shows the boys are listening to Coach Kieran at training. Jhett, Matty and Jirah shared in the points today with Bailey Martin putting in a tremendous effort WELL DONE BAILEY!!!!!! Cruz, William, Matia and Costa supported their mates well in tackling and hit ups great work guys. Round 8 11 th June 2011 Titans U6 BLUES v St John Bosco Win 30-8 Our Blues won their first game for the season well done boys. We are all really proud of you!! Matthew had another solid game. Prasant, Dillon, Costa and Brooklyn took some awesome hit ups with William and Matia contributing with some great tackling. Cruz was working hard and supported his mates well. Jhett scored a couple of try s and looked quick. The happy faces said it all and we all had fun. Congrats to Costa and Brooklyn for taking out Man of the Match awards. Maybe this is a sign for the NSW Blues!

A total of 9 tries and 3 goals were scored by Jack Rule (2 tries), Zac Wellfare (3 tries, 1 goal), Riley Martin (1 Try & 1 Goal), Ryan Clements (1 try) and Dane DeCoque (2 tries). Congratulations Riley on kicking his first goal ever! All boys played exceptionally well, they are becoming organized and listening to what coach Ryan tells them at half time. Some great runs were made by both Kalan and Brayden who also both tackled great during the entire game. All of the boys were not really there 100% and although it was quite a late start, most of the boys were half asleep during the game. The usual standard of defense was not quite there and nobody was moving up, the line was standing still and waiting for the opposition to come to you. There were still plenty of points to be had and some glimpses of skill but overall there is still quite a bit of work to do at training. Playing against one of the top sides we managed to win the second half but took too long to get started in the first. Lochie Seldon made plenty of ground with his long runs and Zach Law had a power house display up the middle and at times taking over at first receiver. Callyum went in hard against the big boys and sufferred an early injury but stayed on showing great courage. With a bit more help in the tackling department the results may have been different. Daniel is slowly realising his ability and improving each game. Back to training and more tackling practice and a win will come along soon. With 2 more new players (welcome to Nathan Rourke and Nathan Clarke), it was the Titans 11 s with some renewed confidence and form carrying over from last week. In what was to be a tough game it was the Titans who got on the board early but some poor handling in bad conditions kept Menai constantly in the game. But the turning point was some great defence by the whole team with 3 consecutive sets on their goal line before putting Menai away with a try at full time. Then our halves and backs starting to look comfortable and confident with each other and it showed with opportunities constantly opening up across the park and allowing the 3 new players Cody and the 2 Nathan s to fit in easily. Great defence today boys! And a well deserved win.

After some very poor handling in the warm up we were left wondering if their minds would be on the job for the game. But it wasn t long before the boys opened up De La on the outside to put the first points on the board. In what was a mixed bag of tries today we saw an unusually high amount of attacking kicks for this team, but they were well chased, leading to tries on three occasions and unlucky not to take a few others. With some solid defence and the boys pushing up in defence for most of the game left De La with no points on the board. Some very good handling in what were very poor conditions got us the two points today. Man of the match went to Josh Moran this week, it was a hard choice today from what was a great team effort.
