Official Rules: Lucky Number Draw for Bob and Jack Aldridge Sweater or Atlantic Tractor Grill 1. Individual must participate in (and complete) the event. 2. Entrant must meet all target requirements for the shoot, as stated in the program, prior to the event. Shooters with insufficient handicap targets who choose to shoot targets only are not eligible. 3. Upon completion of event 6 and event 10, DTA representatives will publicly and randomly select one number from zero to nine. The drawing will be held in the club house building. Unduly delayed make-ups will be disqualified from participating in the promotion for that event. Be sure to check your score promptly. For purposes of these promotions, no scores will be changed after the random number is drawn. 4. Shooters with a score (shot in the event) ending in the number selected will be eligible to shoot-off. For example: if the number two (2) is drawn, all qualifying participants with scores of 92, 82, 72, 62, etc. are eligible to compete in the shoot-off. 5. A time and place for all qualifying shooters to register for shoot-off will be announced over the PA system and posted on the scoreboard. 6. At the appropriate time and place, all shooters who have signed up to shoot-off will be called to the shoot-off line and should have their guns and shells ready. Shoot-off participants will be assigned to squads based upon yardage and at the discretion of the shoot management. 7. Shoot-off participants will proceed to shoot two (2) targets at each post for a total of ten (10) targets from his/her ATA yardage (yardage shot during the event) 8. All shoot-off rounds will consist of ten (10) target events. Shoot-off rounds will continue until a single winner has been determined. 9. Decisions made by shoot management regarding the above listed rules, or other disputes, shall be final. All decisions will be made in conformity with ATA rules where applicable. Page 3

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE February 1, 2012 Greetings fellow trap shooters! The 109th annual Delaware State Trapshooting Championship is fast approaching and will be contested over Memorial Day Weekend. The Farmer s Almanac has promised me fair skies and warm temperatures, so make your plans now. And, don't forget you can squad in advance by visiting www.presquad.com from the comfort of your favorite recliner beginning in April. For details, please see pre-squad details inside this guide. I would first like to thank Delaware Trapshooting Association s board of directors for their continued hard work and dedication. These individuals have helped to ensure a successful and enjoyable Delaware State Championship this year. On behalf of Delaware Trapshooting Association, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to Ohmer Webb and his staff at the Millington Sportsmen s Association for hosting our state championship over the past several years. The Delaware Trapshooting Association, and trap shooters from Delaware and neighboring states, wish to extend a sincere thank you for your time and efforts. Over the next year, my goal is to bring the Delaware State Championship back to Delaware in the near future. It is important that as Delaware shooters, we support our local organization, the Wilmington Trapshooting Association. WTA has completed extensive improvements that include renovated trap houses with concrete roofs, PAT trap machines, and a new highway access. WTA has undergone renovations to infrastructures that will enable the club to successfully host a major event like our annual four day state shoot. Remember WTA is our only club throwing ATA registered targets in the great state of Delaware. The program following this letter contains event descriptions, rules, guidelines and other information you may require to participate in this year's state shoot. Please remember to visit the advertiser that helped make this shoot book possible. I look forward to seeing you on the line over the 2012 Memorial Day Weekend. Good luck and great shooting to all shooters! Best regards, Bill Alfree Page 5

State Shoot 2012 Delaware Bank System For events 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10, the DTA will utilize a 6 bank system, comprising 2 traps per bank. The number of banks necessary each day will be determined by the shoot management. Shooters will shoot 50 targets per trap. Shooters in the singles and handicap events will shoot 5 shots per post with the squads going around twice on each trap. Shoot management request s that all competitors take 50 shells to the line for all singles And handicap events to help complete the events quicker due to the reduced number of Trap banks this year. A bank spillover system shall be in effect throughout the entire shoot program. Should any particular bank (or banks) have an excess of squads, those squads determined to be in excess shall be reassigned to the next closest bank to equalize the banks and ensure a smoother and timelier event for all participants. The banks will be kept evenly balanced throughout the shoot as determined by the Shoot Management. 2012 Delaware State Shoot Squad/Bank Assignments Bank 1 Bank 2 Bank 3 Bank 4 Bank 5 Bank 6 Practice # shooters 1 2 3 4 5 6 3 Traps 7 8 9 10 11 12 60 13 14 15 16 17 18 90 19 20 21 22 23 24 120 25 26 27 28 29 30 150 31 32 33 34 35 36 180 37 38 39 40 41 42 210 43 44 45 46 47 48 NOTE: actual layout Banks 1-6 from left to right facing trap houses CLUBHOUSE Page 38
