Bedrock Prospectors 2013 Treasure Hunt Starting very soon and guaranteed to excite you with more great prizes than seen in many a year. Our special type of hunt gives a multitude of benefits, and of course you get a chance to win great prizes. This treasure hunt allows our members to participate in a club activity in your own spare time. Consider it a hunt when you want event, with spectacular prizes thrown in. You will have a full five months to find the time to treasure hunt and compete. It s a great opportunity to spend some quality time with fellow members, your buddies, and your friends in a relaxed environment. All participants have an equal chance to win, no matter what type of metal detector you own. Finally, get the chance to take advantage of one of this great clubs event, set up just for you, our Bedrock Members.

Rules for Hunt Entry Fee: All Adult Members: $25.00 All Jr. Members (17 and under): $10.00 All participants must be Bedrock Prospectors members You may enter contest any time during the duration of the hunt, but only items found after entry fee has been paid will be accepted. Only items found using a metal detecting device of any type will be accepted. Only items found during the duration of the hunt will be accepted. Participants will agree to hunt only with fellow members to witness and validate each other s finds. No exceptions! You will need fellow members to witness and sign finds slip to record points. To record finds and achieve points, you will need to present finds slip to authorized judges. Each participant must have his or hers finds slip signed by an authorized judge to be valid to win any prize. Points accumulated by any participant shall remain only to that participant.

You will need a minimum of 2500 points to be eligible to win any prize. This is a five month long hunt and this should not be that difficult to achieve given the target chart. Each participant will be responsible to keep all of his or her finds in a single container for the duration of the hunt. All winning participants will be required to show all finds at end of contest. Participant standings will be announced thru out the duration of the hunt. Only authorized judges will have final say in accepting and awarding points. Any participant fraudulently entering a find for points or witnessing said finds will be eliminated from contest. No exceptions! We are conducting hunt under the strictest of the rules of the honor system. There will be no exceptions. Anyone violating the Honor System will be eliminated from the competition! All rules of courtesy will always be followed when on private properties and all rules and regulations will be followed when hunting in local or state parks and or properties. As always, carry a litter bag when hunting and help out in keeping the grounds we hunt clean.

Prizes will be awarded to the top point earners, from 1 st place down, until prizes are exhausted. Winners will have their choice of prizes available. Mystery Item There will be a secret Mystery Item that will only be announced at the end of the contest. The prize for finding the secret Mystery Item is $100 cash! So don t throw away anything interesting that you find, it could be the Mystery Item. Just a little clue as to what it is It s not silver or gold and finding it will bring a smile in memory of a time long ago. That is the clue for now, more as the treasure hunt goes on. Hunters Choice You may submit any single item that you find which is not on the list. It must have been found with a metal detector. 50 points will be added for Hunters Choice category. Judge s Choice You may submit up to 6 items that you find which are not on the list. They must have been found with a metal detector. 25 points will be added for each item accepted in the Judges Choice category.

Presidential Award 100 points will be awarded for the most unique item found with a metal detector. This will be awarded by the club president on November 8 th, 2013 (the last day of the treasure hunt). Presidents Hidden Target The club president will hide a target somewhere, someplace as added chance to win a cash prize. Clues as to where this item is hidden will be given throughout the treasure hunt! Good Luck!
