We have a number of packages we are able to offer depending on the level of financial commitment that is suitable for your business. With more than 250 members Brighton & Hove Cricket Club, affectionally known as The Bensons, are the premier and largest amateur cricket club in Sussex across both adult and junior, men s and women s cricket. We are able to offer our teams extensive training opportunities throughout the winter months as well as during the summer season. We are proud that many of our up and coming men s and women s players are home grown as a result of our excellent junior training section which enables younger players to access high quality training and we nurture those who want to play for fun and develop those through Club and County pathways who want to play top level competitive cricket. As a Club we are only able to offer such a high level of cricket thanks to our excellent volunteers and our very generous sponsors. In return for your generosity, we will be promoting your business with brand-recognition in our annual handbook, on our advertising boards and through our social media platforms. THE MIGHTY BENSONS The Mighty Bensons were founded in 1945. We have a long and distinguished history of playing competitive cricket. Our Men s 1st XI are founding members of the Sussex Premier League, and our Women s team compete in the Southern League Championship. Our current and former players include multiple Ashes winner Matt Prior, current England wicket-keeper Sarah Taylor, ex-scotland international Matt Machan, current Sussex CCC players Luke Wells and Phil Salt and Overseas 1st Grade Australian Isaac Taylor. At a junior level currently 10% of our players from the boys and girls sections have places in the regional and county squads; a fantastic demonstration of the determination and dedication from the youngsters in developing their game. Based at our home ground, The Nevill Sports Ground in central Hove, our facilities include two squares, Astroturf pitches, training nets, clubhouse/bar, and a changing room complex. We are very proud of our cricket community and the volunteers that put much time and effort into running the club and the 260+ fixtures that we play at home and away each season.
THE MIGHTY BENSONS In addition to training and matches, we have a lively social calendar and we welcome sponsors to join us, be a part of our Club and see the fantastic talent that we have. Our 2018 calendar is almost complete and all sponsors will receive a copy. This year events will include our annual golf day, our Club dinner, BBQ s and most excitingly for all players, the launch of our new Club kit partnership with Newbery, cementing our desire to strengthen our local relationships and partnerships by working with the premier Sussex cricket brand. We also keenly use our social media platforms to promote our sponsors. We have a new website (www.brightonandhovecricketclub.co.uk), hosted by popular sports club website provider Pitchero with 350 members which has more than 450 views per week. The website is kept up-to-date throughout the year with news, match reports, photos and results. We have more than 1,000 followers on twitter (@BandHCC) and we also run a Facebook page.
