3 President s Message May 2018 He s Back! Yessiree! I m finally back in action following nearly three months of recovery from my accidental fall, severing tendons in both knees. Thanks to VP Terry Warren for taking over for me during that period. As my comeback, I was able to attend Fun at the Farm on May 5 th, which included a short meeting and a good measure of fun while driving our antique objects of recreation. While the turnout was somewhat disappointing, everyone who did attend had a wonderful time while enjoying the events, the excellent food, and camaraderie. Thanks to Dick and Bev Borton for their hospitality and hard work in sponsoring that fun event. While on the subject of events, next up for the club is the June 16 th gathering at Pacifica Lynnwood Senior Living. This is a worthwhile event that we ve enjoyed for many years now. Also during June is the Washington Park Tour on the 21 st, also hosted by Dick and Bev. It doesn t matter if you bring your T, a modern car, or catch a ride with someone for this tour; it usually turns out to be a worthwhile and fun gettogether. With the warm and dry weather we are now experiencing, it s time to exercise the cars we ve been working on all winter. I hope to see many of you out and about over the next months. Hopefully, I ll be able to, soon, drive my own cars. Patty has been an excellent chauffeur. Happy T'ing, Jerry Wrolstad
