Patricia Lumley My name is Patricia Lumley. I am 67 years old and have been a member of Coffs Harbour Golf Club for 30 years. I served on the Board of the Coffs Harbour Golf Club as Treasurer for a period of 2 years. During that time I was the Festival of Golf Director, one of our major events catering for visitors from all States. Over a period of ten years I assisted in the running of the Mid North Coast Veterans Championships. I am a State Rules Accredited Referee and have conducted On-Course Rules at my club, as well as refereeing at events conducted by Golf NSW and the Jack Newton Foundation. I have travelled extensively playing golf both overseas and within Australia. I have observed and discussed with other golfers their expectations, seen how different clubs and committees operate and have gained a knowledge of what players want. In particular, being a country golfer I offer an insight not necessarily found in metropolitan golfers. As a TAFE Head Teacher in the field of Office Administration, overseeing 5 full-time teachers and six part-time teachers, I was responsible for the preparation of budgets, allocation of resources, preparation of timetables and staff rostering. I also ran a small business teaching computing for two years. I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Financial Administration, both qualifications combined with my experience will be beneficial in the role of Golf Director. I am keen to expand my interest and participation in the.management and running of golf. Based on my work experiences and golf knowledge I know I can contribute to the success of Golf NSW.

Darrell Watts Darrell has been involved with Golf for over forty years. He served as a Council Member of the NSWGA for five years, has been a Director for four years and served on the Match, Marketing and Development & Course Rating Sub-Committees. Darrell was the Vice Captain of Ocean Shores Golf Club, past Vice President of Murwillumbah Golf Club and was the Chairman of Greens and Junior Co-coordinator for three years. He was the Junior Promotion Officer for Northern Rivers DGA for six years and served as Vice President and President for five years respectively. He is currently the NRDGA Vice President and a Director of JNJG.

Andrew Tharle I have been a member of Royal Canberra Golf Club for 24 years. During that time I have served on the Board and as Vice-Captain. I have also spent a number of years on the finance and match Committees. This was a very important period for the club rebuilding its clubhouse and building an additional nine holes. I am currently an active participant in the junior mentor program. I believe juniors and regional golf is extremely important to the growth of golf. This is displayed through enjoyment of attending regional golf events where possible, including sand greens events. I have twenty years of public service experience in a range of management and executive positions with a focus on financial management where I am currently the Head of the Finance and Commercial services area at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. This position requires me to show leadership and that I fully understand the importance of setting longer term goals and the role of a Board. I have been a member of the Australian Society of CPA s for almost 20 years. I am fortunate enough to have won the Club Championship, Foursome Championship, junior championship as well as a number of other tournaments including the NSW mid-amateur and NSW sand greens championship. My devotion to Royal Canberra has extended to representing the Club around 180 times. I believe that my experience as a Board Member at RCGC together with my exposure to interclub, interstate golf coupled with my financial background would make me an effective contributor as a Director of Golf NSW. My contact details are 0419 464 362 and andrew.tharle@aihw.gov.au and am discuss my nomination.

John Robinson Having been in the software and IT industry for 40 years I am now semi- retired. Prior to establishing my own business I was the IT Data Communications manager for Westpac (Bank of NSW). In 1982 I established my own software company and developed and sold software for large scale systems in over 60 countries. Across my business career I have been a director and chairman of private and public companies. As a keen golfer and I have been a member of Elanora Country Club for 20 years and also a member of the Australian Golf Club for five years. I am an accredited NSW State Referee and a Golf Australia National Referee. I am enthusiastic about education in all aspects of golf and have been involved in the development and presentation of education material on golf etiquette and the Rules of Golf. Currently I am a member of the Golf NSW Committee for Rules and Amateur Status and a Governor of the NSW Golf Foundation.

Michele Adair I've nominated for the Board to use what I've learned on the Council Working Party, consolidate our progress post amalgamation, and help prepare GNSW for the future. Country and metropolitan clubs face different, and complex, challenges. My career provides the skills and experience need to navigate these issues Financial expertise having enabled UBS Investment Bank to achieve compliance with the Financial Services Reform Act and roles as Chief Financial Officer in two not-for- profit organisations The strategic plan which delivered 15-27% improvements in operating effectiveness and efficiency for the Melbourne Market Authority Extensive partnership, stakeholder liaison and contract management experience, and Developing award winning marketing and media campaigns. I'm a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and have tertiary qualifications in management, marketing, community development and quality assurance. I have Club Level Rules Accreditation, was Secretary of Hurstville GC for 2 years and am still the Club Delegate.

Annette Baggie My main aim if elected would be to further the development of golf in N.S.W. across all age groups both male and female. I believe that in order to achieve this, strategies to assist Clubs to maintain and grow membership numbers are required. Secondly I would like to see improved communication between all levels of the organisation. I have played a great many of the NSW country golf courses and am well known as Bushy Miller throughout the area. I am well aware of all issues affecting both sand and grass green courses and clubs in the country areas of NSW. My concerns are the declining memberships and the lack of juniors becoming playing members of country clubs which obviously also is to the detriment of non-country clubs as many of our youth migrate to the larger cities.
