Organize your team finances (This is only an example) It is recommended that you try to figure out what each parent s portion of the team expenses are at the beginning of the season. This way you are not always asking for money to cover items. I have given you an example of the common team expenses that occur during the baseball season. Give each player an envelope with their name on it and details of how much is owed. Team Expenses: (these expenses are only an example)» LAST name Only on jersey/first or last on hat $8.00 $10.00» Pennants or banner (if team decides to purchase) $5.00 $10.00» Snack Bar buy out (per volunteer) $30.00» Coaches gifts/volunteer gifts for end of season $10.00 - $20.00» Snack Bar ticket for after the games (see below) $20.00 **You do not give snack bar tickets for the exhibition games on February 20th.** If you are unable to get sponsorships, then you must split the cost between all the parents to cover the sponsorship requirements. Each team is responsible for 2 sponsorships of $300.00» Sponsorship divided among players $600.00 divided by 12 players = $50.00**** Try to get Businesses & Corporations to sponsor the team!! SNACK BAR TICKETS **There is no Opt out for Teams this Year** Snack bar tickets are a simple way to handle after the game snack and are loved by all kids!! The tickets are redeemable for a drink, candy, chips, hot dog, corn dog, cup-osoup or any $1.00 item. Parents are asked to pay $1.00 per ticket per game. The Team Parent will collect and purchase Snack Bar Tickets for the ENTIRE team PRIOR to Opening Day. Tickets will be discounted to $.75 per ticket if bought on time. If bought after February 20 th, Opening day, tickets will be $1.00 per ticket. For reference 12 players X 18 games X $1.00 = $216.00. For reference 12 players X 18 games X $.75 = $162.00. Please make checks payable to Seaview Little League. It helps to put the player s names on the back of the tickets, and then you will know who has received a ticket and who missed the game that day. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ALL THE UPCOMING SEASON S SNACK BAR TICKETS OUT TO EACH PLAYER. If needed, designate a parent to bring snack tickets to each game to be distributed after the game. The kids really look forward to getting their tickets after playing their hearts out.
Remember that all volunteers need to have a completed volunteer application turned in. **Please put Division & Team Name on each Volunteer Application and attach a copy of driver s license please** All forms can be found on the Seaview Little League Website!
