Although the use of a Spa Nature in winter is wonderful, in several situations it is better to close it for winter. Here are the steps. 1. Never flush your spa without checking the level of water in the basin. To check the water level, use a wand. A place was specially provided for this purpose. If you see more than 30 cm (12 inches) of water on your wand, you must use a submersible pump to clean out the water The negligence to verify the presence of water under the tub may let the tub getting out of the ground. 2. You will need to completely flush the spa. To do this, the use of a submersible pump is ideal. 3. Close the Breaker (GFCI breaker). 4. Remove the jets, the skimmer basket and the cartridge of the screener, and close the lid. Clean the cartridge with a "cleansing for cartridge" as indicated on the container, allow to soak for 12 hours in a bucket, rinse the and let dry. Once dry, brush it slightly and store indoors with other items. 5. Drain piping with a "Shop-Vac" type vacuum or blow air to evacuate the water while the leaving work. Make sure you open the valve of the fall to flush the water in the plumbing. Similarly to the drain line, if your installation is permanent. Blot the water in the spa. Make sure you well empty water of all the pipes to avoid any damage due to frost. 6. Unplug the power supply wire.
7. We recommend that you store the components in a heated environment. Let the Red valves open to dry the components of the system. 8. Remove the plug in the bottom of the skimmer to introduce a demi-gallon of antifreeze and then restore the stopper in place. 9. Remove all traces of sheet to prevent stains and damage to your pool. 10. Unscrew the bottom drain (Star screwdriver) grid and store with the engine. 11. Pour antifreeze in the bottom drain and then place the CAP expansion. 12. Unscrew the gates before the jets and remove the central part of them, if applicable. (The use of rubber dishwashing gloves can facilitate the work.) 13. Pour a small amount of antifreeze in the jets. Insert plugs rubberized in jets and tighten the butterfly. Unscrew the plumbing of your waterfall at the level of the valve. 14. Extend a Web of polyethylene in the bottom of the basin to protect the surface of the basin against stains of leaves and other damage during the winter. 15. Add water to a height of 2.5 cm (1 inch) under jets of the folder, i.e. to about 15 cm (6 in.) above that the seats. You can cover it with a tarp. 16. Protect the surface of the electronic control with a waterproof protection 18. Make sure all the valves located in the locations of freeze are in the position open and protected rodent or insect pests which could decide to spend the winter, with bags plastic. 17.
