Exercise Bingo Uses: Warm-up or Fitness Activity Visit the website www.bingobaker.com and create a bingo card that contains a list of fitness activities, movements and actions that can be completed without equipment. Once completed you can print these for your students Step 2 Create a spinner with Wheel Decide. Spin the spinner you built, as activities appear on the screen, the students participate in that activity and then cross off the matching square on their bingo cards. Repeat with the second spin Continuing the process until a student wins the game of Fitness Bingo, by crossing off a complete row of fitness activities as shown below. OR Make your own!

Monster Ball Equipment:(1-2) large Exercise Ball(s) and gatorskin balls Directions: Students will attempt to throw the small ball at the Monster Ball in order to make it move. Their goal is to try and get the Monster ball to cross the line on the opposing team s side of the square/circle/line. If the Monster Ball rolls outside of the designated area the opposing team s side will receive one point. Variations: Larger Class Sizes Try playing with 4 teams (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow) If the ball leaves the middle square area in your team s corner of the court you will receive one point Using Multiple Monster Balls Add in more than one ball and keep track of points as they cross the lines. Once they cross the other team s line they must stay out of the playing area and can t re-enter the game Strategies: Jamming the Monster Ball Hit the Monster Ball in the middle-top Use Teamwork Don t just stand there watching after you throw immediately go get a ball to throw again

Capture the Flag Set-up: -Split the kids into 2 even teams. -Divide the playing area in half- use the cones to mark off an area that will be the prison and an area that will house the flag (I use hula hoops) Goal: -The object of the game is to steal the other team s flag and bring it over the center line to your side without getting tagged. -Anyone who is on the other team s side, and is tagged by a member of that team, MUST go immediately to prison. -To be saved from prison, someone from your team must make it all the way to you without being tagged -You can only save one person from prison at a time -You cannot pass/throw the flag to another member of your team. -If someone tries to steal the flag, and is caught before crossing the centerline, then that person goes to prison and the flag goes back inside the safe zone.

Ultimate Games (frisbee, football, etc..) Equipment: Any ball and pinnies Directions: Divide the group into equal teams. One team tries to make it down the field into their endzone to score. You are not allowed to move with the object. You must catch the object in the endzone to score. Variations: 3 catch 3 catch with defense Full game utilizing endzones
