Can you imagine......a boat that combines advantages of a RIB and a conventional open boat?
Can you imagine......a boat more spacious but only weighing about half?
Can you imagine......a boat built with aerospace technology making it durable, strong and environmentally friendly?
Can you imagine......a 7.5 meter boat that makes 43 knots with only 150 hp needed?
Stop imagine......light Marins LM75 is here!
A completely new type of boat is sea-borne!
The safety and lift power of a RIB
Freeboard as in a good conventional boat (80 cm instead of the 40-50 cm in most RIBs).
About half the weight* of most comparable boats. Yet strong and spacious. * See following slides
Space as in a conventional boat or even more. A huge difference compared to standard RIBs!
Properties Very low weight thanks to technology researched from the aerospace industry Lower hull weight means less engine power needed, and thus even lower total weight. 115 hp is enough for 34 knots! Lower hull weight allows for higher carrying weight or higher speed. 50+ knots with 200 hp! Towing a tube is easy with 150 hp and 12 passengers, as pictured! Lower weight also means the boats runs higher and dryer. Result: turning and accelerating much faster. The combination of high and stiff freeboard and the tube gives a fantastic feeling of free space, safety and comfort Runs dry, as the tubes, and the rubber profile applied to the tubes, stops break water and spray
Properties The tubes give very high floating power in extreme situations and adds comfort during normal conditions. Very nice to lean against, and easy to moor the boat 23 degree deep v hull shape for wave slicing effect calculated together with braking suppression side steps. Excellent grip, comfortable ride Better of the environment through less fuel consumption and more environmentally friendly (vacuum injection) construction methods Width in transport mode is 2.5 meters. In combination with the low weight it makes the boat very easy to transport on a trailer on a single axle trailer Quality and finish in every detail. Must be seen!
State-of-the-art construction Top quality Orca Hypalon tubes 1300dtex with 5 chambers including pressure release valves. Rigid structure constructed from 3d sandwich composites with directional glass fiber matting, laid in strategic directions applying strength where needed, rather than extra weight and mass. Vacuum infused together with vinyl ester resin to create a super strong structure with the precise amount of resin applied where needed. Our LM75 has the same laminate calculation as a 14m racing boat, squeezed into a 7.5m rigid hull. Osmosis barrier coat applied before the gel-coat. And PVC high density foam has a maximum water absorption of 0.02%!. Absolutely no wood used in the boat. Will never rot or water saturate.
Custom design your own boat Choose colours on tubes, seats and even the hull (some choices cost extra) Can be delivered with or without engine(s). Standard outboard engine is Honda, a world leading brand with highly efficient and environmentally friendly design. Options includes stainless steel targa frame, wakeboard kit, protection covers, stereo, chart plotter, alarm with GPS tracking, and towing trailer. Other configurations will be investigated on an individual basis. The boat allows for a variety of seat and console options to be installed on the flat, strong and open deck!
